Poor Compensation for Your Time

I have used Survey Junkie for awhile, and it’s a nice way to make some extra money. Cashing out is quick and efficient, and you can do as many or as few surveys as you want depending on your schedule. My main complaint is definitely the measly compensation for the amount of time and work required. I understand that Survey Junkie isn’t meant to replace a job and is simply for side cash, but even side hustles should pay appropriately. Offering 50 points for a 20-25 minute survey (i.e. $1.50 per hour) is not only unethical, it’s just downright offensive. Another consistent problem I have noticed is receiving “This survey filled up” messages and 2 points - after submitting the completed survey that I spent 20 minutes working on. While I understand that disqualification decisions are made by third party vendors and not Survey Junkie themselves, there really needs to be a protocol for when this happens so users are compensated appropriately. Someone who is disqualified 20 minutes into a survey should absolutely receive more points than someone who was disqualified after 1-2 minutes. Not my favorite way to make money overall, but a really nice option to have for emergencies where you need extra cash fast.
Liked it but cannot complete a survey anymore! Too many glitches!!

The first day I downloaded it, I really liked this and completed four surveys no problem. Now , the next day I cannot complete any surveys. I have tried 12 surveys. They time out, or say “sorry this survey filled up” AFTER I have already spent many minutes completing a portion of the survey (not the screening questions, actual survey questions!). This is unfair and I feel like survey junkie is just collecting the survey data without fairly compensating me for my time. I am considering removing the app and my account unless this is fixed!!

I’m so impressed with this app, mostly because there’s actually a pay out and several different ways to get the money. If you like taking surveys and like extra cash, this app is for you!
Free money with a headache

Worked great at first I earned a fair amount of money then after the first week the surveys really have not been worth it. You’ll complete surveys to the end for it to only say it’s been filled and in return you’ll get nothing or 2-3 points. It’s really been a waste of time now.

Surveys fill up and kick you out after you have already spent a lot of time on them. If they let you in let you finish it please fix this now! They send you a notice say a survey is for you and you click on it and most of the time it kicks you out saying your not eligible for this survey. Why send the notice very frustrating.
Disappointed after initially being helpful

Had it for several months and used to be great! For about 2 months now I have not had a single survey available. Only gives me options to sign up for other survey sites. I submitted a help email asking about it 2 months ago also, and was told that it sometimes happens and to keep checking as it picks back up. Well it still hasn’t for me. Very disappointed since it started out so great.
