This app is a waste of time. It doesnt do anything that the uber app cant do better. And more accurately. Another middle man app preying on drivers. Lyft and uber do that enough.

I would not be able to pay attention to surge when it does starts , no sound

Not a bad app but there are times when Uber is surging and the app isn't showing it. This generally happens when I'm in an area that has a surge in progress. Other than that, it gives a pretty good indication where the surges are, as long as you purchase the upgrade.

Who am I to judge this app, I'm not a developer... just a humble user. It performs exactly what is advertised well, however there are a few annoying flaws I've found: Cannot turn off current location surge tracking (when using background monitoring I would just like to monitor a specific town, not my current location as the two are often the same place... So I receive two notifications. No big deal, I just deleted the town as a location I wanted to monitor) Doesn't provide long term statistical data. If you guys were able to pull this off and provide users with daily surge trends/tendency based on data collected over weekly/monthly periods I would give you all my money forever Otherwise, great app!

Used to track the Surges in background flawlessly, but lately it's not monitoring in background until you open up the App. Please fix

Yes, you can already see surges with the partner app. BUT...the partner app doesn't alert you. You have to be watching it all the time. And yes, Surge app will only alert where you place the pin. If you know your area well, you will know where to put the pins. When surges occur, they don't just happen in one small tiny dot. They are spread out. Yes, you only get 10 locations. Make sure to only put down one Select (if your a select driver) in your area. Select surges cover a wide area, not just in the immediate demand area. Also, X/XL go together. So if someone is making an XL go surge, X will surge right along with it (At least in my city it does) And you will wonder why when there are plenty of cars available for X and it's still surging. The API behind this app will alert you before you even see the surges appear on the partner app.

Great app until it crashes

I used the app until today when it would close itself after just a few seconds. I think it's related to my 3 month subscription expiring but the app won't stay open long enough for me to renew, and instead the app has become completely unusable. I've also tried to delete and re-install to no avail.

Ten locations is not enough for such a large metropolitan area. I, for one, would be willing to pay addition for a full surge map!
