It takes too long to update most of the times, and even if the app is open it won't notify you there's a surge unless you switch to it. Lately it doesn't work at all on my iPhone.

It doesn't give any notifications, or show nearby surges. Only shows area within a few miles of current location and will only update if you close and reopen the app.

It doesn't work any more and I just subscribed for 3 months and it stopped working all of the sudden, I emailed the developer and didn't get a reasonable response

Crap app, just work if you link with your Uber account, very dangerous to your privacy do not use it
Gaps in data, no help from customer service

Sometimes there are rather sizable gap's and the data; as much is three days in some cases. I contacted customer support a week ago and so far there has been no response.
