The EBT method has helped me regain and maintain my health and happiness since I began using it 5 years ago. This app is an incredible extension of the method and an easy and effective way to tap into your feelings and be with yourself. I especially love the check in reminders!
Brain dead before coffee
This is a great new training tool for people in the EBT program or those who want a practical introduction to it! EBT has greatly changed my life by helping me to gain a new wisdom of my emotional being, and control the stress that leads to overeating. I highly recommend the Wired for Joy book and wish it was available as an iBook. The kits for use with my EBT group are well developed too. I like the blog but it needs more frequent entries. Great to see all this in one app and the check-in timer is bonus! An iPad version of the app could be helpful for more lengthy cycles.

Since reading Wired For Joy a year ago, I've been anxiously waiting for this app! A big thank you to it's creators! I look forward to depending on it in my daily program. It is simple, user-friendly and I am so grateful--I get a joy point just thinking about it :). Just a couple things I noticed that need tweaking: the cheer reminder timer didn't sound--if I hadn't been viewing my phone when it gave notice, I wouldn't have known it was time (and yes my phone was off the silent feature); the list of blogs are fine I guess, but I'd like a way to read them then & there. I noticed some typos in the texts, but perhaps they are intentional? All in all this app is a great addition to my EBT program, the warm connection I receive in telegroups, and the EBT community as a whole.

I was thrilled to find the tool for my iPhone. Started EBT but had a break after birth of child. Getting back into training and am so grateful for this app. Helped me get through a tough Stage 5, through a cycle and back into balance. So grateful.

An update from last (Feb 22,'12) review. I've had a few weeks with this app, and I so appreciate it! It helps me stay on target with my 10 check-ins daily. I also updated my iPhone's software and now have the check-in reminder bird sound I designated--whereas before I did not. :)) EBT, in my opinion, is the best method for relieving stress, releasing pounds, and living in joy and compassion--rather than depression, fatigue, or just ok. This app is an excellent tool for beginners and advanced alike!

Terrible app. I just answered a few questions, that's it. I thought it was going to be a little more complex and effective. Deleted it after using once.

All this has are boxes where you write about your mood. It says 'training' but that's basically the only feature. Ugly interface and graphics. You're better off writing in a journal.
