Why is moon always shown at same position as sun?

It’s a useful app, but I cannot for the life of me understand all the 5-star reviews in the face of a huge bug: in the graphic display, the moon is always shown at the same position as the sun. That should occur only during a new moon. With a full moon, for instance, the moon should be 180 degrees away from the sun. Quarter moons should be 90 degrees away. Surely other users have noticed this! Am I missing something?

I was about to do something similar myself and you might have saved me the trouble. But a few things are missing: 1. Add ability to set alarms. The reminder isn't noticeable so it can't be used effectively to wake up with sunrise as a reference. 2) use a picker instead of the list for setting alarms. Your list maxes out at 2 hours which means you can't set a bedtime alarm based on sunrise. I want to set an alarm that tells me when to go to bed for 8 hours of sleep based on getting up relative to sunup. That means I also need an alert some time before that to get ready for bed. Build in some flexibility. 3. Let people enter their location instead of having the gps drain their battery. 3 stars for potential, but without at least the first two suggestions this app doesn't get used until it gets an update.

I was looking for the same thing as reviewer n o b o d y. Until you make the changes they suggest this app is not so useful for me, but if you do- this will be great!

Terrific App

A non emuss

I suppose those those that wrote less than a 5 star review were very early adopters/users of this app. None of the complaints they list were founded (as of this review July-2016). The app works fine. I have no Apple Watch. I have iphone6 and uptodate ios. Alerts are good. Graphic is nice. Thank you. Well done!

Best sunrise/sunset/moon app

For years, I've been looking for a great app to tell me the times for sunrise and sunset, as well as the moon phase. This is the one. All other such apps are either too gaudy and complex, or very ugly and cheap-looking. This app is perfectly simple and does exactly what I want with the right amount of visualization.

The only thing I don't like is that it does not give you the option to chose location services when using the app. Either it's off which means the app is useless or is always on even when the app is in the background. That drains the battery. Will have to see its effect on battery life.

Super useful app, best lunisolar time app I've always wanted. Little suggestion, I would like to see a feature that shows the actual local lunisolar time along with local lunisolar noon times when you press say the Sun or Moon icon or Sun or Moon rings. But more importantly I would like know where this app gets the information from.

I like the way this app looks & works. I tried several in the past and have found this to be one of the best. On the phone & on the watch the visuals are terrific. The alarms for various solar & lunar events are great to have. All in all it's a great app.

Great app. I'm very happy to see it back in the App Store. Could not find it for awhile. This app works better than ones I have paid for. I like the alarms, but needs the ability to select from iPhones many sounds alerts to make it complete.
