I use the sun, moon and stars to tell me the time of day, month and a year. This app is a great way to use Genesis 1:14 to help you understand the biblical clock and calendar.
App does what it claims, simple and effective

A very simple but very effective and nice app. I got my weekend morning sunrise warnings and my sunset surfing alarms. Amazing app to outdoorsy people, i wouldn’t mind to pay for it but it’s free! Thanks to the developer! Please add a donation button :)

Great app. Just one suggestion: Is it possible to have the sun's altitude listed as a degree throughout the day? If this could be integrated in the Apple watch complication it would be great. Good work!

Just downloaded Sundial to my iPhone & iPad and seems like a good app... but, I have an Apple Watch 3 (non-cellular) and it will not load on my watch.

I spend a lot of time outdoors and am generally interested in astronomic events. I find myself checking this app often when planning outdoor adventures. One thing I would like to see are little indicators as to whether the sunrises/sunsets/noon are getting earlier or later everyday. Thanks!

Alerts with Ringer Off?

This is a lovely app and I appreciate the design thought that has gone into it. I primarily use the app to alert to sunrise and sunset for personal practice. I prefer to keep my ringer off, but unlike the iOS alarm clock which sounds when ringer is off, Sundial does not. Would super love if it was possible for alerts to sound even when ringer off. Thanks!!!
Great app for runners, hikers or walkers.
Cooooooooper
I like to time the start of my runs so I am running when the sun rises. Gives me a boost of energy when the sun come up. Sundial makes this very easy to do. Plus the app is internet free; there is no backend server keeping track of your personal data. Also Sundial is easy on your battery. Alerts are very useful. Sundial is better than any of the other sun rise/sun set apps I looked at. Respect to the developer. As others have suggested, please consider adding some form of first/last light. I’m not sure what makes the most sense; civil or nautical or astronomical.
