Crashes constantly

This app crashes continuously, or stays stuck in buffering mode and my phone crashed entirely at one point. Only had the app two days & I'm over it. Too bad though because all the content available looks interesting.

Update March 12, 2018: The updates to the app are excellent. It's really a totally different and new experience. Thanks for listening, the original all was awful. Old review: So basically keep a notepad of what you were watching and what you like because there isn't a history function, or a saved shows, it doesn't transfer between devices so what you watched on one device on your account zeros out on another device. But it zeros out on the device you watched it on anyway. Really great shows, you just have to manage it on a notepad to keep track. A for content, D for app
Not accessible to deaf individuals

Ironically I downloaded this app so I could watch "This Close,” a tv series about two deaf friends who go through life, etc. But there are hearing characters in there that speak and I need captions to understand them. The website provides captions but I want to watch from my ipad so I can cast it on chrome cast... but no captions feature? Pretty much defeats the purpose of downloading this app at all.

Content is amazing

The shows are some of the most easily bingeable ones out there; such great content all around. Got hooked FAST onto “Riviera” and “This Close” - must. watch.
FastForward Rewind

This app NEEDS the skip forward and backward buttons (skip forward 10 seconds, skip backward 10 seconds). Those buttons are standard on most good streaming apps these days and the really enhance the viewing experience.
Chromecast bugs out

Chromecast connects, but doesn’t play video. Disconnecting in app crashes Chromecast.
Needs Rewind / Fast Forward Option

Needs to have a fast forward, rewind option. Also, it would be nice, too, when you're on the homepage, tap and get a general overview of the film, not have to go to the film to read the description. Overall, the app is a little bit clunky, needs to be refined.
Creepy company

They charged me AFTER I canceled. They sent intimidating emails when I disputed the charge. They are scum and have tarnished the honorable Sundance brand for me.
