Best sudoku, but a liar

Out of the many sudoku versions out there, this is by far the best, in my opinion. Others may have flashier graphics, but Astraware has the best feature set and playing mechanics. My only beef is that when I switched from the previous app, the statistics showed that I used an average of 100's of hints per game. Since I have never used a hint, I was forced to reset years of statistics.

As a longtime user of Astraware games from back in the Palm days and SudokuOTD on both my iPhone & iPad, I’ve had great response & support when I had problems from an iPhone update earlier in the month. I had the “Unlock Everything” option which didn’t immediately come back & Howard helped me through the problem. I was almost ready to just pay for another “unlock” but Howard came through. Thanks again to Howard & everyone at Astraware!

Best way to do Sudokus

Astraware is responsible for my addiction to Sodukos. They have the most user friendly interface I have used. The pencil marks are simple to use, especially on the iPad where each number has an assigned location. I can very quickly assess the number status by observing the pencil mark patterns. I also love the ability to be timed and compare my times with other players. It gives me an opportunity to evaluate how I am doing. I started using Astraware Sudoku years ago on my Palm Pilot. This was the first app I looked for when I received my iPad years ago.

A long time ago these used to be challenging. But today I played a Fiendish and Diabolical game and both were solvable with no thought required. What happened?

Great way to spend a few minutes everyday! Works great. Love daily puzzles. Nice to compare times to other players (except the dummies who think they are fooling someone by posting times under 2 minutes).

I enjoy playing sudoku daily. I have enjoyed this app for several years. However, one of the recent updates frustrates me. I don't always complete a game in one sitting and like to come back to it a bit later. Before the update I could come back to the game I was playing with no problem. Now, after the update, when I return to the game it refreshes and wipes out the game I was playing. Please fix this!

Adds on Sudoku

I purchased the sudoku version with no adds a long while back. I enjoy the games daily. The past three days I have gotten intrusive video adds I am forced to look through when I go from Fiendish to Diabolical! I have never seen this before! There isn't even an option to skip it! I tried to send a note to Sudoku about this issue, but there seems to be no way to actually contact them. Sudoku wants you to wade through FAQs without a clear option to send an email concerning a problem. Not happy ?! How can I fix this?!

I've been playing this game since the days of the color Palms. I made sure to buy it when I switched to an iPhone. Now Everything got so small. Difficult to play. My fingers are to big and I'll have to switch to a stylus. :-(
