This is a great app to learn with. The hint system gives you information in stages teaching you the techniques used to solve the puzzle. I would give it 5 stars except for a long-time bug with the hints when auto pencilmarks is turned off. You can only get one hint unless you use auto.

Fabulous graphics and ease of use

I've played several different Sudoku versions on the iPhone or iPad, and this one works very smoothly and well. There are lots of options to choose from, including difficulty level, whether to be warned if you make an error, etc. really fine app for Sudoku aficionados.

Resolved "Restore" issue with help from Support

I had a problem with a recent update that forgot about my original purchase and refused to let me restore it. But a quick email to Astraware support resolved the problem. Kudos to Astraware for taking care of customers.

I have used Astraware Sudoku app since it was launched several years ago and have found it to be best software on iOS platform. Last upgrade of the software in mid-July removed my earlier purchase history. When I contacted the developer, there was an immediate response and problem was fixed within 24 hours. Not only this Sudoku app is the best in the class, the developer has a very speedy and professional process to respond to customers.
