A worthy challenge

This game makes challenges available at every user’s level. I love games that make me think in patterns. This version of sudoku lets me develop new skill levels over time so I have control over how much I want to relax and play or focus and work.
Very good but could be better

I really like that I can use my Apple Pencil to write in numbers. The zen mode is great so you get the paper experience. The one thing that I wish that it had was Sudoku variants. XV, Kings, knights, Killer, etc. That would make this the number one sudoku app by far.
Doesn’t work consitently

I am not sure what version I am on. I assume it is the latest since I have my iPad set to update apps behind the scenes. Recently, after playing the game three or four times, the sceen goes black when I open the app. I think this has something to do with the company they have partnered with to run ads. I have to delete the app, download it again, and I can play it for a few games. This makes the app very user unfriendly and I cannot recommend it until we find out what is happening and correct it.

It’s a amazing game! Have been playing this game an year and half, and have no glitches. …But I have a one problem, when I enter in sudoku board I can not to write down the numbers… I thought you could help me. Thanks.

Update: OMG thanks so much for replying and letting me know this is an option for the modern modes!!! I don’t think I I’ll be able to put it down now. Original: I would give this five stars if only there was an option for the generated numbers to be bolded or a different color from the numbers you put in. This would be so helpful! Beautiful game though!
Freezes, bogus numbers
Very versatile
App constantly freezes then reverts to a previous state requiring resolving blocks. Once it posed an impossible possibility in some blocks.
Obtrusive Ads - No Way to Close

I can’t comment about the actual app because an advertisement started right away. There was no way to close advertisement and I had been forced to participate in unwanted activity. This happened about 30 second into my “test drive” I’m all for developers getting paid. I’ve spend a fair amount of money on many apps and games. What worries is me when ads become so insanely obtrusive that exiting is impossible and user is forced to be taken away from the app to a website. It blurs the boundary of where the app is and where nefarious activity starts.

This is a great app with fun and challenging sudoku puzzles. My only gripe is with the writing detection. Three times I’ve written the right answer and the app fills in the wrong number. But that can be easily corrected by changing the settings to classic mode, so no biggie. It would be great to have more music options in the future though. I have it almost muted because the song distracts me.

Disappointed,too
I paid the $4.99 to remove the annoying ads but I still get them. And when I click ‘app support’ on their home page it just takes me to a Sudoku game. This is pretty poor customer support!
