When you need to get away from life's pressure and hectic pace for a moment, take a break and play with Substrate.
Substrate is based on the original concept and code "Substrate Watercolors" by J. Tarbell, which you can see at Complexification.net. If you're interested in experimenting with visual computing, you might want to check out processing.org
It seems ridiculous, but THIS app was a favorite of mine. I truly wish this app could be updated to work with modern iPads. It really is beautiful and creates random generated art. I miss you guys. ?
I have always enjoyed the times that I have used this, and it is surprisingly soothing and interesting to watch in action. I’m sad to see that it is no longer working, and hope it gets updated so that we can keep enjoying it.
Creates such neat images. Great to have on at work while phone docked.
This game isn't even fun u really can't do anything but watch it make circles u can't even color it :P
Love the pictures this app creates. A couple suggestions: I'd like to see a lock screen control within this app. For everything else on my phone, the screen can lock after 1 minute, but I want this app to make it stay open longer. Also would like a little bit denser, vivid colors.
When I tap & drag to decide where to start the next crack, nothing happens. If I can't affect the design, it's useless to me.
Can't even effect where it's going or the shapes. I would like to draw too. But it did make pretty pictures!
I really like this app.I like to use the pictures for backgrounds. I just wish you could control where it makes the line and add color to the picture
