About the App and Me:
Hello, I'm Trey. I'm the guy that made this app.

I believe that one of the great purposes of life is to have as many awesome experiences as possible. To fill your life with stories -- this is a wonderful goal. To this end, I created this app very much for myself. I am a travel photographer, and I run a travel photography blog at StuckInCustoms.com . I've accidentally become an expert on travel photography over the past seven years, so I wanted to create an app that I honestly use ALL THE TIME to plan out my trips.

There is a big problem that this app solves for me, personally. I have limited time, and I want the best information about where to visit and what I will see, generally, when I get there. When most people look at travel guides, they simply look for the pretty pictures and think, "I want to go THERE." This takes that experience to the next order of magnitude, and makes it all extremely practical with Trip-Planning.

Even if you don't travel, you still want to find interesting places to see and experience within a short drive of your home. Or maybe there are hidden gems right in your very town that you've never discovered. Because our algorithm is a cool mix of crowdsourcing plus human-curated lists, you'll see some really good results.

All in One:
So, this is it, Stuck on Earth. You don't need to use multiple apps, webpages, and other resources to plan your trip. All the countries, cities, and rural areas of the world are in here (well, except North Korea) -- all in one place. Add photos to your trip, and they'll be available offline. Everything you need is right here in this app. Thanks, and enjoy!

Not What I Expected

I want to like this but I can get most of these photos on Google Earth. Is the voiceover really necessary, too?

Really liked it, until the update.

Thought this app was great, but since the update it crashes every time before it even finishes loading...sigh.

Love it..but...

Constant crash on my iPad 3. It's working fine on my first gen iPad

Great Photos, but..

Pros: Great photos. Lots and lots of photos of interesting places. Linking them to a map gives good context. The dev guys responded quickly and professionally when I queried them. Cons: Not intuitive. Still cannot find the help feature. When adding photos to a trip, the app added several photos I did not select. There is no way to delete a photo from a trip. No ability to add my own photos unless I submit them to the app authors. In the photos that exist, there are many that are of poor quality or not applicable to the location, if not outright mistakes. For me, the cons out-weigh the pros. I'd like to create a trip and to get photos already associated with my destinations. When I return, I want to be able to add my own photos to the existing ones. It was not clear in the description that adding photos would require anything other than importing them into the app. I am disappointed.

App is fixed?????

I deleted the app on my IPad3 and reinstalled it and it no longer crashes when opened. Enjoy

Great concept, not so great execution

Terrific concept but UI is not very intuitive. Not obvious how I can add my photos. When I switch to another app, it forgets where I was. I also find the voice over a distraction.

Stuck for sure
!hyperfocal!

Slow to install, slow to open, slow to use. Freezes often while opening. I am currently in Hawaii and thought I would give this a try. Very frustrating. When you install the app you have to enter a name (why?) and then you have to pick from one of three categories. But there is no explanation on what difference that selection will make. To change categories it looks like you have to reset the app. One of the categories I tried was photographer. I was looking for places to take photographs that maybe I was not aware of. More frustration. The map pins are slow to load and most of the points are useless. The first 5 random photos were family pics with no relevancy. Two had the heads cut off. Obviously there is no quality control. I turned the obnoxious voice and sound off because the app was already slow enough. Also, the interface designer chose cutesy over intuitive. I am not one to write a review and when I do it is generally very terse. This app has gotten my longest review by far to date and does not even begin to express the depth of my frustration. In my opinion this app is just a lot more marketing fluff from Trey.

Stunning
