what the heck is with all the goofy names? it makes it hard to find filters. also, the effects arent that great. maybe the paid ones are better?

I purchased the full version of this via in-app purchase, so can't put this review where it belongs...in the paid version. Positives: pretty cool effects, being able to select favorite effects, thumbnail previews, and Instagram export. Negatives: the app restarting (with lengthy splash screen, ads, and all) and forgetting whatever I was working on after switching to another app. This is huge and inexcusable a year after iOS 4 was released.

I've used about every photo app out there and this one is the least useful. What's with the ridiculous names and the filters are extremely weak. I expected more.

I'm a photographer & videographer so finding a "photo" app that doesn't bore me isn't easy. 100 Cameras is Artistic and simply Fantastic! Each filter has it own poetic name as well as the category the filter falls under. 100 Cameras looks to me to be a well thought out app for the "Artist" in each of us. When I saw the negative reviews for this app I didn't download it. However after trying it I Simply Love it! The fact that I can upload to FaceBook and other sites makes 100 Cameras even better. So if you're open minded enough to read and "get" all the interesting filters and their Names then this App is for you. Thank You 100 Cameras for a creative and unique photography experience.
