I pick the exercises, the reps each set, totally free to record my workouts however I do them. Plus aesthetic charts showing my progress over time.

I clicked update all apps while I was in the middle of my workout this morning. Updating the app lost my entire workout. Are you KIDDING ME?

The app provides useless RM data. Instead of calculating what % of your 1RM a particular weight represents, it calculates your 1RM based on the weight/reps. This is not only useless for those of us who already know our 1RM for a particular exercise, but it’s also misleading since it’s based on a math formula and it changes at every workout. This is not how 1RM works. Please, come up with a better way of representing 1RM data. You have it backwards. Let us set our own 1RMs and then show us what % of that 1RM a particular weight is.

You can only put three custom workouts in before being prompted to pay an absurd monthly fee for what is basically a spreadsheet with a gui

Love the app. The updates are awesome. Can we get an in app time for like planks, wall sits. Stuff like that. That would put the app over the top.

When I first added an exercise and added the amount of reps completed, a timer showed up and I had no idea why. It wasn’t clear to me that if was a rest timer at first. Also, what the hell do the *Reps and *Weight labels mean? I’m guessing there’s a correlation between optimal weight and too light of a weight if I had to guess. Facebook Auth doesn’t work for me either. Not sure why.

Best UI design and understanding of what a daily gym-goer wants in a workout app. I have tried seven (7!) different workout apps since getting the iPhone 6. This is the only one I thought "okay, this guy gets it" about. So many are filled with disk-hogging videos and preset workout bloat, yet their UI is rather poor and convoluted. Strong is just the opposite. There was an issue with the timer which I emailed the developer about. I received a personal response and, sure enough, the issue was fixed in the next update, as promised. Looking forward to future updates. I recommend this app to all my workout friends. Easily the best in show. Keep up the great work. My gym life appreciates it.

I looked for a replacement to a VidaOne program I used for 6 years. Nothing I tried rose to the level that STRONG has. And that was when it was a thin app. Each upgrade brings rich improvements which bring this recommendation. Get it. Use it. Get strong.
