This game is so addicting its hard to stop, your always like 'just one more mission'. Not really into the social media so much and the not being asked to post about my new f-4 with sidewinders is refreshing, THANK YOU. Well worth the money this app is sold for. I love the other strike fighter (NIAP) app! I really hope something else is is in the works, maybe the gulf war years with the stealths and aircraft carriers or a helicopter strike version of the game. I'm sure you guys have thought of all that already. Gentleman, an outstanding job, I'll see about getting you guys that raise you have been needing....(good work,...r.t.b.). S.k.doss

It should have the same improvements as the original version (more planes, better physics, etc.) but is the best of the Strike Fighters series. The planes from the years 1980+ are available for unlock immediately after completing the campaign, no money or leveling up, just unlock keys. If you want the extra planes, its worth $3.99.

Love this game and its sister games ("Strike Fighters Attack and Strike Fighters Israel"). I play these games more than my X Box Ace Combat games. However, even though I enjoy the wide variety of aircraft the games feature, I would really like to see aircraft from the Swedish Air Force in both Strike Fighters and Strike Fighters Attack. I've always been a fan of the Saab aircraft company, especially the JAS 35 Gripen, the Draken, and the Veegan. Other suggestions I have would be the inclusion of propeller driven aircraft as seen in Strike Fighters Attack and Strike Fighters Israel. I love this game so much and play it so often that I feel like as a gamer I should get the most out of these three games. Therefore, I find it necessary to write this review in hopes that these planes would be added and increase the sheer joy I get out of playing these three games. Thank you guys for your time and have a most wonderful day. #great app!!!! :)

The folks at Third Wire have great history of producing excellent survey sims (one's that give you the "feel" of being there without needing a pilot's license). The Strike Fighters series for the PC are great and now their series for the Tablets bring the same feel to IOS systems. This is not a hardcore flight sim, nor is it meant to be. It's meant for jumping in, getting into a quick dogfight and getting out. It's great for a guy like me that likes to take his kid to an air show or air museum and share the great history of warplanes with his kid. This sim gives you one more way to touch that history. In my opinion there are a couple of places for improvement. First, there should be a bonus for making it to the end of the timer without getting shot down. Right now after exhausting your weapons it is easier to get shot down than evade your enemies...since there is no incentive for survival you just want to jump back in and start again. I would suggest that if you can survive to the end of the timer you get 100 points for every minute that was on the timer. For example if you survive to the end of a 2:30 timer, you should get 250 points. Second, it would be nice to have some different skins instead of minor variants that essentially look the same from the same country of origin. We get a little of that with some of the cool British and German skins, but why not an Indian Mig 29, an Iranian F-14, or an Israeli F-15? Heck, there are now F-16's with Iraqi paint schemes...how crazy would that be? Third, some cockpits would be nice for those of us that like to feel inside the plane. No need for accurate true to life interactive cockpits. Some generic static cockpits for each era would be fine. For example a generic cockpit for all US missile equipped fighters from the Vietnam War era would be fine. A generic light blue Soviet era cockpit could cover most of the Migs from the 21 through the the 25. A generic two MFD cockpit for all the fifth generation fighters would do just fine. You could probably cover all the planes in the game with 6-8 generic cockpits. Having said all of that, those are minor issues. This is a great game for fans of the old survey PC sims like the Jane's series. Right now the tablets can't do what the PC's can do, so Strike Fighters keeps the elements tablets can do and scraps the stuff that they can't. Totally worth the purchase.

This is a good game and I think it's cool that there is planes from the 1950s to 2016 but I think you should add the YF-23 Blackwidow and maybe the F-117 and maybe the F/A-37 from the move 'Stealth'. It would be awesome if these planes were added

Perhaps for 1$. But definitely not worth the price tag. Graphics are not at all what you should expect at this price point. Game is stupid easy. Fire a couple cannon rounds at an aircraft from several miles distance not taking into account any leading and you're pretty much guaranteed a kill.

Fun game needs some new features

Overall, it's a fun game. But there are some things need a little changes. First of all, can you add a no time limit feature in to that game? So I wouldn't be cut off when I chase a enemy air fighter. Secondly, can you add sections, to separate Russian airplanes, US airplanes, Europium airplanes, so that I don't need to go through all the plans to get what I choose to fly. Thirdly, the game favors US too much, with longer time, higher firepower.
