Man and Woman Icon

Whiteeagle18

Why is the man and woman icon the only couple that is not holding hands?! Please fix this please. I will change my rating once you do.

Wonderful!

I wish there was one function within that app that’s not there...iCloud support. I would love to use this on multiple devices. BUT this app is absolutely wonderful. I’ve been using it for over a year now. It’s a wonderful app for you to be competitive with yourself. I use this app to make a game out of making and breaking habits.

Design is a mixed bag

Kirk Strauser

I ❤️ Streaks. It’s been a great motivator to develop the habits I want. Thanks! That said, the UI is a mixed bag. It’s pretty, but so unique that it takes me five minutes to figure out how to do common stuff. It’s not *bad*, and if I had any other apps that worked the same way it’d probably become second nature. I still feel like it’s clever for the sake of being clever. I also wish I could have more icons on a single page. I currently have one full page and a second with two icons that I regularly forget about because they’re out of sight.

Customization makes it

You can determine not only at what time of day each of your tasks will remind you, but ALSO what portion of the day each task will add to the app’s notifications badge. As a compulsive remover of notification badges this is the critical detail: I’ll always see it when I’m supposed to, but won’t get desensitized to it. You can also change the background and app icon colors to keep it fresh and continue to have positive mental connotations with your tasks. Absolutely perfect at what it does.

Amazing! Tons of features under the hood

At first I was disappointed. It appeared to be way too simple of a app to justify the cost. After using the app, I was amazed at just how well the app functioned. I was further surprised when I discovered all of the options under the settings menu such as changing the app icon. I highly recommend.

Good app with an extremely unintuitive UI

I'm not sure what long press on the 'dont' tasks do. Does the x mark mean that I didn't do that task - which I wasn't supposed to anyway. Or does it mean that I failed that task of not doing it. Multiple pages instead of continuous scroll is another problem. Took me about 3-5 mins to understand how to edit a task. Note that I'm neither technologically impaired nor am I new to iOS ux patterns. It's just that most of us don't want to learn new patterns for the sake of one app. That said, this is a very useful app for forming habits. And if you're reading this review, don't let it dissuade you from purchasing it. Just be aware of the UI kinks.

Wow! Just Wow

Gangsta_Nerd

A really great app through and through. Beautifully crafted user experience. I would have been fine paying more than I did quite honestly

Hard to use

HRH Gwen

For the price, I expected a little more. It is difficult to manage. Difficult to change your habit. Not user friendly.

Best habit forming app

slickshark

I compared five different apps that help me form or break habits, and Streaks is the best one by far. The interface is amazing because you can change the colors, and you get satisfaction when you complete each task. Get it.

No response from developer & no notes like old app

Lizziesocal

I updated my iPhone and lost the ability to open the old Streaks app (several years of data) & I emailed this developer with zero response. This Streaks app has no area for notes that I can find - it’s just a marker on the calendar. I took the tutorial, certain that I was missing key details, but there isn’t much to this app. Great app if all you’re looking for is to keep track of a habit w/no notes. Would like a refund.
