Meh

AjayRamesh

One star because it went being a great app to being useless. The new timeline feature is a total screwup - it randomizes the order of all posted activities: My last triathlon shows up as though I ran first, then swam and then bikes. Doh! Also, the app used to be able to use the Apple Watch as a HRM, but they then chose to endorse fitbit, and so they won’t allow the watch to be used as a HRM.

Nice app stopped working on my Apple Watch (v4.1)

Please fix!!! Love the app until it stopped working w my iPhone 6S Plus (v11.1.2) and AW.

Watch app is totally broken - not able to save runs

Im Pacific

Hello, I have a fully up-to-date Series 3 Watch (OS and app version). Every time I finish an activity after the latest release it says my location has not changed and so it can’t save the activity. This is after running 7+ miles more than once. I know the GPS is working because it’s accurately tracking my pace and distance. PLEASE PUSH A FIX ASAP! This is a bug that makes the app actually useless lol, I really would like this valuable data to not be lost every run.

Strava doesn’t listen to its base

Ohyonghao

Nobody asked for white, now we have no choice but white background. No one asked for algorithmic tampering of activity feed, now we have no choice but to rely on some unknown computation of what they think we should see. Everyone has asked to be able to upload pictures from PC, Strava ignores this and makes white background and messes with activity feed. The feed was the last straw, I am no longer a premium user.

Lousy

Does not function as advertised. Folks who answer emails are clueless. Even for free it is a waste of effort.

It WAS great but new version loses ride details

OC Doug P

It used to be lightweight and snappy, but new version uses too much phone process. It gets locked up mid ride and loses the ride detail. Bad bad bad. This is a pretty new iPhone 8 too so I have a phone that should handle it. Bummer. I’d hate to switch apps but this is no good.

Limited privacy and incorrect data

Riko54

Very disappointed that Strava refuses to allow users to not disclose location- needs an opt out feature so maps are not public. Also, upload data from GPS computers such as Garmin or Wahoo, do not upload accurately. I’m a premium member now but will not renew.

For outside it’s great, for inside not so much

MJ Dark Side

Big fan of the app for outdoor use. Hands down best app for outside. Indoor use is almost useless. Mainly because you can only select run or ride... granted you can change the activity after the workout BUT spinning is not an option. The biggest beef I have is that even though the app will “record” a 1-1.5hr indoor workout session, as soon as you end the activity it records a 10-12 min workout. What happened to the other 50-80 mins? Poof, gone. At least MapMyRun has an edit function where you can edit duration, distance, calories... etc. no so much on strava. You can edit the description. It would also be useful if you could manually add a workout - so that if you use the Apple workout app then add all the results from that workout - but no that option also doesn’t exist. Lastly it would so cool if you could sync workouts from strava to Apple health or vice versa... again not so much. So for indoor months choose mapmyrun for outdoor months choose strava.

Great standard biking app

Have been using this for about a yr to track my rides, great basic functionality and does exactly what I need.

Great app!

I think that Strava is an awesome app whenever I remember to record my runs! When I forget it's not so awesome but for the most part it sure is! I'm so glad that the app exists! It is well worth Downloading it for your iPhone!
