I work with students who are visually impaired or blind. This app is self-voicing and children do not need to visually see the screen to enjoy the fun nursery rhymes and interactive points! The VI community is excited to find this app that can be used with infants, toddlers and preschoolers who are visually impaired - thank you! Suggestion, this app is NOT accessible for adults (family members and teachers) who are visually impaired, as the buttons to select the book or the play mode are not self-voicing and are not accessible with VoiceOver. The settings options, information page are also not accessible.
My two year old loves this game, she laughs every time! And I feel good knowing Fisher Price designed it, so developmentally it is perfect for my toddler!
Would be a great app if it had a few nursery rhymes, however with only the 2 it's a waste of time:( very disappointed with it
My 8 month old loves it! The read and play version has all sorts of little surprises when you tap that are fun and teach at the same time. Please make many more of these story books!
Great App! My little guy lights up when using it! Great early literacy tool-encourages fine motor skills- phonological awareness. This is more then a fun app to entertain, but a learning app. There are 3 volumes as of now..this is the first... I hope they make more. Love that it can read or sing, love that the pages turn on their own or by touch, that it gives the likeness or action of turning pages like a book. Anyone with babies or toddlers know that rhyming and music combined equal great experience in reading a story. The fact that these two rhymes are short also adds to the appeal bc very few toddlers and or babies can positively sit still attentive through a story. I also love the narrators voice. Excellent app. Be sure to turn off multitasking when using app, too.
