Update Great but Missing One Thing

IgDrig

This app is getting better & better BUT the map included in the alert text has still not been replaced and that was my favorite feature. Let’s put that back please!

Is not working !

The App is not working since the last update! I cannot open it.

Get rid of new features & nag screens

Kelliann5405

Updating after Dev response. Ok maybe I’m wrong about original price, though $11.99 sticks on my mind. However you’ve made it more complicated and confusing and I hate the pop up screens asking for $$ every time I mistakenly tap a premium feature. I use several weather apps all for specific purposes. Yours is for storm alerts. Not interested in it being a soup to nuts app. Why don’t you have TWO versions: the original plain one for all of us unhappy with this version and the new fancy one for the rest. Then you could get GOOD reviews for both. Original: I’ve used this app probably since it existed. Paid $11.99 for it back then. Always relied on it for STORM alerts and loved it. Now they’re trying to turn it into a weather app for all purposes and moving away from the primary storm function. They added unneeded premium features and nag screens to pay for them. You can easily get these same features free elsewhere. Try Accuweather for future radar. This interference by the developer has ruined a good purpose driven specialty app. I took away all but one of my stars for this truly awful attempt to monetize this app. I can no longer recommend it.

If you want alerts, you have to pay

PurpleLightning99

I’ve had this app for years. It’s annoying that you have to pay now. I want to have weather alerts, specifically tornado alerts. Now that it’s tornado season I’ll be deleting this and downloading a different one.

Worthless in tornado weather

Momma of magda

Twice when we have been under tornado warnings- WARNINGS, not watches-NOTHING popped up on Storm Shield. I wrote the developers the first time - they told me to reinstall. I did, and last night as the sirens were echoing, storm shield was silent. Do not depend on this app.

Solid alerts!

vetsac

With the storms across Kansas and Oklahoma earlier this week, I’ve received numerous alerts for tornado watches and warnings, severe tstorms, and flood watches/warnings. Solid and reliable alerts for us!

Lost love

Dgomgr

This was a great app. As a professional photographer I'm always looking at the weather forecast for my clients. I am willing to pay upfront for an app but un-willing to pay an extra 1.49 for future forecast when my other apps provide it with the original fee. So disappointed you've lost another loyal customer!

What happened to alerts?

dapooh1

This app was great when I first downloaded 2-3 years ago. But I’ve noticed I’m not getting alerts anymore...what gives?

“Free”?

Jrick90

I guess I’m confused. Before, you had to pay for the app. Now you’re promoting the app saying it’s free. But apparently not if you want to see future radar? Isn’t that the point of checking the forecast? To see future weather? I understand 0.99 isn’t a lot to pay but please stop promoting it all over TV to use this FREE app (specifically during tornado season) if I can’t check the radar coming my way without paying. Thanks.

Communication Is Key

I emailed this developer because I no longer receive weather radio alerts. I just wanted to know if I had to pay the subscription to receive that feature again. They sent an email without an answer. When I tried to click a ratings box it sent me to an insecure site. BAD BUSINESS storm shield! Updated Review: I appreciate Cheryl for answering my question and offering to test my location.
