Charging for updated features

App was great until they started charging for updated features. Think I paid $4 for app a few years back, now they’re ripping long time customers who want the updated features. Would not recommend.

You have a lot of nerve charging for the lightning. I already paid for the app.

Thank you for adding metric as an option over the vastly outdated imperial units! I understand the weather again! (Although pressure is still showing in inches) The old app used to show history, so I could see the path of a storm by seeing where it had been. Now that seems to have gone and you want me to pay to see where it’s going. This is a negative IMHO.

As noted by the developer, they restored the missing watches/warnings/advisories and even added some that they didn’t used to have. Some bulletins were removed in an app update. Storm Shield addressed the concern promptly. Had a warning tonight pop right up on my phone and watch. This app makes following the weather in tornado alley simple. The nice thing is you can plug in multiple locations to receive alerts for. So if you live in the north part of town but work in the south part of town, you can get location specific alerts for both. It’s perfect for keeping track of the weather where older relatives live—if I see a “blizzard watch” pop up for my parents, I know to check-in on them. This is my go-to app! ——————————————————————-

I used this app daily and loved it but myself like many others who purchased the app originally have be come disgruntled with the fact I now have to pay a monthly rate to unlock all the features. Luckily I have found Vanderbilt’s Coach app and it does the same with lightning strikes that app offers for a monthly fee for your one time purchase. Nice update

Didn’t alert me of a current tornado!!

Neither I nor my husband got an alert from the app for a tornado warning that is in affect for our area. The whole reason I bought this app was for audible alerts. It’s worked up until today. What’s going on?

I took the app off tonight because every time there’s an alert it sends it 12times at the same time so can’t understand what it’s saying unless I read it , not to mention it makes me jump out of my chair when it goes off. Sry I don’t know how to fix this so I took it off

Never get updates. If I do it’s not prominent on the I watch. Never receive Alerts on the watch. Better apps for free.
