Great app, just one problem.

I’ve been using stop motion studio for a couple of years now, and usually after each update there’s a small Problem that’s usually resolved soon. Ever since the most recent update, there’s an issue with the camera! It is off balance…I don’t really know how to explain it. I would take a picture in a certain position, The next picture I take, the camera would move up (this is only for using zoom in feature). It’s been really frustrating dealing with this problem, please fix!

Seemed liked the app had potential. However, I have an iPhone 12 with latest OS installed and every time I try to take a picture, the app crashes. Worst purchase!!!

Pros and Cons: A Modest Review

I bought this with the express purpose of transferring content from smartphone to PC and back, but I haven’t gotten there yet. Ok. Here’s the Paid Version Pros: 1. Nice selection of canned titles that you can customize as you like. 2. Decent music beds for background tracks. 3. Snappy Transitions to make your project move. 4. Decent multilayer masks. 5. Layers are easily added and removed. So much for the Pros. Now the Cons: 1. Video Clip import removes sound associated with original. Not good. 2. In-Frame cut-and-paste only serves to copy and paste what you draw, not what’s in the frame. Ugh. 3. Only 1 Font. Do you like Serifs? Too Bad. No Serifs for you. 4. Rube Goldberg style of animation processing leaves much to be desired. 5. Type is only one color. White. Really, folks? That’s it for me. Please fix the problems, or advise workarounds that work, please.
Lots of problems with audio importing

This app was fine until now. The audio importing system used to be normal but once I put a sound on a picture I can preview the sound, trim, add voice effects , and increase the volume. I’m hoping the creators of this app will fix this soon as it is impossible to make stop motions with no sound at all or not being able to trim and preview audio. Please fix!
Something weird happened

So I usually make my vids at 16 frames per sec and never had a problem before but like 3 days ago it’s been doing this thing where it lags out and makes it look like nothings there for some seconds and it’s also been looking a lot less smoother too I’ve tried and seen if it was just me making mistakes but no it’s the app that’s lagging out please fix this please I want to continue using this app

Okay, to start off, I’ll say it is much better than the free stop motion studio. You can add sound effects, background theme music in the app or on your library, green screens, title and credits, merge and erase techniques, all of which are *not* in the free version of the app. However, since I have downloaded it, I have already run into a few problems. First, I noticed after I edit or erase a picture, the camera on the phone goes wacko. It makes everything dark and blurry. I have to refocus it, but sometimes it won’t even let me! Second, while I take pictures sometimes it kicks me out of the app. If I was in the middle of editing a picture, and get back on again after it crashes, it doesn’t save. And I don’t think it is my phone, but I may be wrong. Third, if I play one of my longer videos, sometimes everything goes jerky and it skips important pictures. I have to select and play it on home, and only then will it play correctly… but I have to wait f o r e v e r to load. Over all, it is probably one of the best if not the best stop motion app out there. It is not without its flaws, but there is no app that doesn’t have any flaws. But I hope that if the developers read this that they’ll update it to make it an even better app! Thank you for your time. —TheIdiotAtSchool Edit: how do you export stickers onto messages app? Edit 2: a new development, the audio editing part doesn’t work any more. I really like to edit my sounds to make it seem like not the same two recordings of cars driving by is playing. Every time I try to edit a sound effect, it freezes, and I have to exit the app for it to work again. A bit of a problem to say the least. If the devs look into it I might change my review back to five stars. Edit: I need help with green screen! How do you change the background!? I don’t want everything to be floating in the sky.
