Unfortunately, this app is broken and is not being maintained. Neither shaking (who thought that was a good idea?) nor pressing the "stop recording" button stops the recording, so the app is useless. I hope the NYCLU patches the app and adds a streaming option, but it seems like this is abandoned software.

but it didn't seem to work. It required response to time-consuming survey questions . . . tried to upload a video to the ACLU but don't know if it happened . . . no response from ACLU . . . video disappeared from my phone. Why is there no Mobile Justice app for New York? Recommend Periscope or Facebook Streaming for New Yorkers.

Perfect app for a bunch of liberals. Whoever designed this app you're pathetic.

I love the idea of this but it's no good if you can't record. I've tried delteing and re-installing and power cycling my phone with no improvement. We have a big weekend of ptorests ahead and if this isn't fixed it's useless.

Won't record. Shows for a fraction of a second then shuts down. Using OS 10.2.1

Bambuser is better. It starts streaming audio and video to a central server as soon as you start videoing so if the cops take your phone and/or trash it, which which they have a history of doing, there will still be a low resolution recording of your video available as evidence on a central server under your control. High-resolution video is kept on your phone and can be uploaded as bandwidth is available, later.

When I open it now, I get an alert saying it won't be supported in IOS 11, which is right around the corner. Hope they update this soon.
