Terrible customer service

Phil Phillipson

They don’t seem to want to pick up the phone

Hidden fees, no $5

JakeSnake715

I got a link from a friend saying if I signed up for this I would get five dollars. Signed up and everything did not get five dollars. Thought maybe I had to actually add some cash and make a purchase with the app so I did so after transferring money from my bank account only to find out there are fees for purchasing stocks that they do not tell you about until you actually make a purchase. So I had to take extra money out of my account to cover the fees. Still never got my five dollars...

Better navigation tools would be helpful

Insanity89!

I enjoy having the ability to buy stocks in fractions as some stock is way too much per share. It's a good entry way into finance and understanding stocks.

I like the fact that you can invest with a minimal amount and increase as you go

Too long to receive funds

Mcat taker

I cashed out my account on the 25th and here it is the 31st and I have NOT received my funds. I’m currently on the phone with customer service and I’ve been on hold waiting for someone to SIMPLY PICK UP THE PHONE FOR 19 min and 23 sec so far. This is ridiculous. I should be on an initial 20 min hold just to ask a question. DEFINITELY CASHING EVERYTHING OUT AND SWITCHING PLATFORMS!

Scam alert

gbeck78

I started an account and for the most part the app is good. The problems I have come across though is 1) shares are purchased and sold at end of the trade day instead of at time of order. Which could cause major losses for a person.. 2) chat support takes more than a week to respond and Phone support puts you on hold for hours. ( not exaggerated ).. 3) I placed an out going funds transfer to my bank. The faq’s section says 3 business days. As of now it has been well over a week and still no deposit made back to my bank account.

Expensive compare to other free alternative

mikeng

I am not sure why I would use this service that costs .99 a trade when there are other cheaper free service? If you cant afford to buy whole shares, why would you pay .99 a share. The only reason to use this is you are constantly expecting people to be gifting you shares. That os the only advantages to this...

Bad commission

Guy10371036103$.91?:

I wanted to try another app than Robinhood but after seeing how bad the commission fee is, I’d stick to Robinhood just like I always have. Don’t even bother with this app.

Ok but lacking

Mega Music D.J.

I’m enjoying this app but wish there were some more tools and ways to look for stocks compare stocks and more.

Stay away. There are much better apps besides this.

YasserShaikh

Absolutely horrible app and customer service. They’ve allowed me to transfer money into the account but wouldn’t allow me to trade. When contacted the customer service, their representative replied two weeks later asking if my issue was resolved. When I replied that it wasn’t, once again no reply. They wouldn’t allow me to withdraw my money back to my account and close my account. It’s quite pathetic. Besides all that, the 0.99 fee per trade is not worth it. There’s so many better apps that charge a nominal monthly fee (usually $1) for better and responsive customer service.
