Terrible workflow to start. Couple that with bugs that has the app hanging on export and you have one crappy app. Not sure if the best out there because I haven't tried the paid apps but SnapStill is proving to be a much better experience.

Present Review (Jan 2015) I love this app. It has survived numerous iPhone app cleanings and is still here because it is good at what it does and easy to use. You can't go wrong with this app in your arsenal of photography apps. Previous Review Taking stills from video has always been difficult but this app makes it much easier. The stills pulled are remarkably sharp and grain can usually be reduced with another app (I use PhotoGene2). Good enough to pass on and maybe even print if kept small. A must buy.

I still pull this app up to grab the best shot. I wish it was updated to today's video quality and expectations. Inside the app, frames are now skipped or hanging on loading. Please come back and update. Such a great staple app for my many iPhones over the years. A must buy! Still works, just could be updated.
Getting videos taking too long

After giving access to the photo library, to get videos, it never returned for me to pick pictures

It is the best app for bringing out a single picture that you wanted out of the video. It also allows you to get some of the best shots that are out of the ordinary. It's a must have.

sometimes you dont know if u should take video or pictures. now i take videos bc i can always turn them into pictures!!
