I've been thoroughly enjoying the Stash app. It was my first step towards investing and I love seeing my money grow each week. It was super easy to start and I was able to easily start small.

Still don’t fully understand this. I’m totally new to this and I’m still learning I guess. 4 stars

I think Stash is a really great app. It is easy to use, the ‘Learn’ posts are informative and continuously updated and I am able to invest in categories of EFT’s that I find compelling. I am thrilled I can make small investments for 1 dollar a month versus other apps/services that charge that per trade. I have two enhancements I would like to request. First, I would like for Stash to allow parents to create Custodial accounts for a minor child similar to the accounts available through the Stockpile app. I would love to be able to open an account for my daughter and teach her at a young age about investing and long term savings. Along those same lines - it would be great if you offered a Gift Card option.

Look, you can get into the nitty gritty and be truly on top of managing a portfolio. But for the person who has a short attention span, or who has ideas and beliefs they are passionate about or who rather worry about their day job(s)... This is for you. It’s comforting to have material to read and watch on my own time while also trusting these folks to take a small amount of money I would drop into a savings account to work for me. Truly hassle free.

Wish I never played with this garbage app. Takes forever to move any money around, hard to make up the $1 per month they charge you

That’s all that needs to be said. Use Robinhood or use a real broker.

Is a good idea. Though the process for low income users can be a chore. I myself found that they have a program that learns your spending habits and according to this data then deducts a varying amount from your checking account. Unable to properly contact Stash by email I was forced to contact my bank to keep Apex Clearing from deducting amounts from my bank. Doing so places stop payments from Stash and now I am indebted to them for an amount they claim is through their banking system which they claim cannot and will not be reversed. So, if you do plan on using Stash, read everything thoroughly.

Would be really good if more UI changes are made to enhance usability. Also can add more individual stocks and in stash retire-option for ROTH IRA.
