If you love trek, you’ll hate the people that made this game

It might as well be any theme other than Star Trek. It's basically bejeweled, but designed to drain your bank account. Not worth it. To top it off, whoever designed this never watched Star Trek. A scout ship 5 levels below a Borg Cube has a stronger hull than the cube and can level up twice as high as a galaxy class. It’s like a US aircraft carrier being taken out by a guy on a jet ski with a pellet gun. And the other reviews are correct in that it can’t be played without a WiFi connection. These people prey on fans’ love of Star Trek and deliver utter nonsense. They don’t even give you the proper number of character slots to properly play. Everything costs money to play at a standard level, you NEED Facebook to save games or lose whatever you’ve payed/played, you pay thousands of tokens to barely level up ships and characters, your characters and items get archived if unused. It’s pay-up-or-lose. On top of that, the NPC ships frequently get sudden shield heals right as you blast them, making it even harder to win while you get nothing. These people are thieves, plain and simple. Update: They responded to the issues I submitted by saying they’re aware and will fix them. Meanwhile it’s been over a year, they keep adding content to spend your money on but haven’t fixed any of the games bugs. Good job doing nothing.

So if you have the Apple version of this game, you can only sign in with Facebook or continue as a guest, while the Android version allows sign in with Google+ OR Facebook. So if you have started a game at any time signed in with a Google account, you have no options to continue your game with any leveled up characters that you may have spent months working on. iOS version lacking a Google sign it is unacceptable. Think about the users and bury your petty differences with Google. Promptly uninstalled.

Let's you log in on Game Center and uses your handle from there. Then when you log out all info and progress is lost. So I deleted it and will play no more.

I like the Star Trek theme over the match 3 formula. The sound effects and art work lend itself nicely.

Okay I understand that you're a business and your goal is to make money. But, if your going to create a game that is nothing more than a cash grab then I have no choice but to delete this game and never play it again. If more people don't or haven't jumped ship I am very surprised.

I like it, but it's a total cash grab. Despite that, I'm still playing? What do you do though after you've collected all the characters? Maybe add the reboots, that might be cool!
Fun, but built for in app purchases

The game is fun, however once you hit chapter 2 for either the next generation or the original series, you cannot really progress further unless you pay real money. If the makers of this game want everyone to give five stars then they need to provide a way for players to be able to advance beyond chapter 2 without paying out of their pocket if they don't want to. Without spending money on in app purchases you cannot really progressed past chapter 2.
