Beyond amazed!

I bought the game only a few hours ago and am loving every minute. I wish more games of this caliber would release. I only hope with the dev being a relative unknown that if they ever pull the app from the App Store it continues to be playable for those of us that bought it and supported the awesome dev.

I bought this game the day it came out, but just got around to giving it a serious play. It's surprisingly deep and addictive once you get the hang of it. Beware: This game is hardcore and does not hold your hand beyond the tutorial. If you like a challenge and are into sci-fi and s-rpg's, then you should pick this up immediately. Update: I always have the sneaking suspicion that on day this relatively unknown developer will abandon the game. I would understand. Thankfully that is not the case and the developer has added tons of tweaks and new equipment. Keep up the great work guys. Hands down my favorite iOS game. Update: I decided to pick this one back up. Surprisingly found myself of practice as I don't have a lot of time on my hands anymore due to work. This almost caused me to give it up for a more extended period. But then I got sucked in again. This time playing endless mode. I have always loved strategy games, but have especially loved tactical games. I have played and seen better, but this game has so much charm and an awesome world that somehow stands out to me. As far as original iOS trpg's go, this is definitely a must buy for the price.

Great game!

Downloaded this yesterday and have been playing it obsessively! It combines elements of FTL with squad based tactical combat like XCOM/X-Mercs/Hunters. Pros Pay once. No IAP, no ads. RPG elements such as customizing your squad and ships loadout and training their abilities. Can also add different squad members and ships to your fleet. Randomized encounters makes replay ability high. For some this will be a con but... it is a difficult game and errors can have catastrophic consequences much like FTL. I like a good challenge so this doesn’t bother me. Cons Space battles using three ships can be a bit hard to manage. I also wish you could zoom out a little further to plan your moves a little further it. Moving individual ships can also be very difficult when they get clustered together as zooming in limits how far you can move them. The difficulty, as mentioned above, will turn some people off. If you liked FTL, this is not an issue. If you found it too hard, this may turn you off. the main characters abilities seem set so if you prefer, say long ranged combat, you’ll need to replace some squad members that are set up for tanking. I wish this was a little more flexible as finding squad members that fit your style is luck of the draw at space stations. Many times your decisions on how to handle a situation don’t have much impact. For example, you may have an option to attack an enemy fleet, probe for more info or flee. Regardless of your choice you end up in combat. This is not always the case though Overall I’m loving this game and thoroughly recommend it.

above avg, some flaws

Feels unpolished and abandoned. Occasional freeze, crashes (ios 10). Oversimplified roll play aspect, lacking in areas such as AP (same for all classes), english translation and character implementation. Outcomes for choices often feel contrived. Alright graphics, background music, auto for space battles but must manual select move and attack for each ship. Anime style cutscenes. Fairly large item selection. Cover but no destructible environ. Has some replay value.

Great game but too difficult

This game is a lot o fun but when it is so difficult that you loose after a few turns, it is like throwing a bucket of cold water on you. I have played several hours and I’ve still not accomplished a whole lot. Because of this I give the game 3 stars. I would even be willing to pay real money (obviously within reason) to buy a better ship, weapons etc.
