Always problem!!!

Horrible Customer Service and Unstable Policies

Find someone else to do your CC transactions with. You will regret the day you committed to using their service....it is awful! First, they WILL NOT EVER have a person call you or anyone to speak with. It ALWAYS seems as if their customer service responses are automated. I have NEVER been more frustrated!! Second, they have unstable policies and DO NOT notify you when they change...this is UNSAT! Beware and stay away!! ——Response to Developer (08 Nov)——- I did and once again I was disrespected and treated as if I don’t matter. No specifics and basically told to sit down, shut up, and color! The exact response is below and I am positive it is a pat response! “Our decision to deactivate your account is final. Our Terms of Service outlines specific account types and processing patterns that we are unable to support, and your account matches one or more of these conditions. I’m unable to address this with you any further, as I’ve shared all the information I can provide.”

Several years with Square with no problem and because of 2 chargebacks they deactivate my account and hold my money for 90 day!!!!


New update is horrible

I have the whole system. The pos stand, wireless chip reader, gift cards and pay for the appointments app. I loved it until the new update. Now that they have tried to combine everything it's horrible... my employees can no longer log into the appointments app without having access to the pos on their phones. We all use the main pos at the shop to ring up customers. Now all stylist can see other employees transactions. My employees hate. The square team took almost a week to basically tell me there's nothing they could do. WORST UPDATE EVER


Good app, but...

When I signed up for Square, i was under the impression that that the fees for the credit card transactions was paying for the development of the app...added value. Now that they have made a separate app that includes inventory management and label printing for $60 MORE /month, I realize I should have stuck with Quickbooks POS and a generic card company.

I have reached out about 10 times to try to resolve my account issues. No one will call me back and they want me to have a code to talk to somebody but since my account is messed up I can’t get a code this is so frustrating!!!

To begin, we have been using Square for almost 4 years. Over that time we have integrated square more and more into our business. We are happy to report that this has been a great decision. The app is always being updated and keeps getting the features that we ask for. All you have to do is email or call and tell their customer service department what features you really want to see in the future. Then sure enough in a month or two the very thing you asked for is added in or has some beginning resemblance of what you had asked for. Do not be deterred by the negative reviews. Most of them are people who have decided that the review section for the app is the best wY to ask a question to the support staff. Or they may be engaged in some kind of shady business that is prohibited by square. On a different note their fees are strait forward and are completely out in the open compared to other merchant service companies. Overall I have been satisfied with the product and the support staff that make it keep working. Thanks square for making a POS that is easy and powerful. Cheers.

I opened up a square account I was approved and then after completing a transaction with my client square deactivated my account and now are holding funds for 90 days also after deactivating my account they refuse to let me call and speak to someone will only email I would never recommend this to anyone I have been in business for 20 years and never had this horrible of customer service!!!!!!!!!!! SCAM
