Incompetent Support Team

I’m giving this app one star because I have an outstanding issue that is affecting me receiving deposit to my account. The support team is negligent in resolving issues that affect their customers and this is literally the worst customer experience of my life!!!!!!!!!

Deactivated account

I had square for 3 years. One day, I got a email that said, my account had been deactivated. I called square, the lady said she didn’t know why it had been deactivated and was nothing she or we could do.. it makes no sense. So unhappy with this service.

Square APP- Square told me it’s quick and easy to set up. I already had a mobile CC processor that I’d used as needed without issues for years. I thought Square would help my company with better, faster service! Nope! Not even close! I’ll be switching back to my previous processor ASAP! Using Square has been a waste of time, a waste of money, a total disappointment and I have no need for anything square offers. Squares Software seems to be complete junk that declines to approve legitimate transactions. Square makes the majority of it’s profit from monthly subscription charges not transaction charges! They make more money with fewer CC transactions which is why they have no problem Freezing Accounts!

I have used Square for my small business since I started in2011. I mainly use my iPad since it is easier to navigate than the iPhone app and I have my iPad out during appointments anyway. I have praised Square to everyone who asks and have had very few problems and great support. I love being able to track charges of individual clients due to the easy format. Recently an update gave me problems connecting both of my chip readers. Now I cannot use the app at all on my iPad because it takes up too much room. I am afraid I will be forced to go to a different remote payment service to avoid buying a new iPad. I am so tired of being forced into upgrading devices.

They make it difficult to call and ask a simple question Cannot see fees for individual transactions, I have to figure out manually per transaction when multiple transactions occur in a day

DO NOT use this company! They keep unlinking my bank account and hold my money. I relink my account I go through the verification and they release some money but not all and then they unlink my account again and this continues on and on and on! They say my bank is unlinking my account and I have spoke with my bank and they say that’s not true! I’ve spoke with others using square and the same thing is happening! The customer service is horrendous! I’m trying to get my money and get out!! I believe this unlinking is intentional because they can take it from you and how can you get it back? Class action law suit? I’m looking in to it!
