Best replacement for Yik yak

The Tin Canintator

This app works well. -also goodnightguy posts here so that's a plus.

Lol

Jxiskwnebbsoxk

Got banned for calling someone a sheep, looks like it was coded by a child and only exists due to yik yaks collapse.

Good, UI needs updating

Julian Raji

Location-based anonymous messageboards, pretty cool. It's simple and user friendly, though I'd like to see some interface updates to make it easier to use. So in short, it's essentially Yik Yak, but still exists.

Inevitable bad because of people

Dude1542589743

The platform isn't flawed, but don't bother coming here to express yourself. If you ever say something slightly disagreeable or controversial you'll have to deal with plenty of unbearable people who aren't willing to discuss but only treat you badly. This may come off as a obvious outcome, but this is fair warning. If you want somewhere to express yourself with no inhibitions find a more specific niche society online somewhere and don't use this app.

Fabulous app!!

Lady Broch Tuarach

As someone who used to be addicted to Twitter and has always searched for an alternative where I didn't know as many people in real life, I'd never have thought I'd end up deleting Twitter and using Spout as my main social media! It's an anonymous app that still allows users worldwide to recognize their favorite posters and develop a friendship with them, without having to provide a username. Spout is more similar to a conventional social media app than to Yik Yak, which people constantly compare it to, because it's not filled with trolls or hate or people searching for drugs or sex, but with people trusting one another and caring about each other's lives. I find it so much easier to confide in people when I don't even know their names and they don't even know mine. Then you can just focus on the content of what you're talking about and offer support and advice without placing their issues into the context of "oh this is a teenage boy," or "I know I'm talking to a young adult woman," and letting that persuade your opinions. Spout has created a close, tight-knit community where even the developers actively talk to users and care about their input. The SpoutFam, or the Pod, are people who care more about me than my real-life friends. Spouters from Seattle or California have even become real-life friends because Spout meetups happen frequently. I hope someday to be able to attend one!

Extreme censorship ruins this app

philliefan626

I got banned because I asked why the "whiny" owner banned anyone who talked about another app, even when it wasn't in the context of promoting it. And I've head of people getting banned for far less. This app would be good if they didn't instantly ban anyone who chooses not to join their special little safe space.

Boring

Stickyrat

This app is designed to suppress and silence minority opinion. Thus if your thinking isn't mainstream you get shoved aside. The result is the conversation is crazy boring and feels like kindergarten or group therapy.

Garbage app

Fake bs

Garbage app. I got banned for saying "penis" grow up. Swiflie is a lot better

banned me for opinion not on the liberal agenda

Hondaj828

prepare to be censored like it was facebook. if you post something that isn't strictly left wing you'll get banned update: banned again for speaking an opinion

Complete trash

Shitbbnmbcdd

If people down vote you're post too many times you are auto banned for a week.If I could give 0 or negative stars I would. Waste of time and phone space! Do not download!
