Very little variety, missing major features

I kind of expected this to function more like a kids station for adults devices so that parents could easily curate content for their kids. Instead, this is an app designed for kids and extremely paired down and missing major features like Spotify connect, song radio, etc. Really just a poorly thought out and executed app all around. Would not recommend.

It's bad enough I listen to the same dozen songs on repeat everyday, at least provide me with shuffle functionality to add some level of variety. Otherwise great app, very much needed.
Looks good but missing key features

As others have mentioned, lacks support for streaming on external speakers (Google Home in my particular case). As this is basically the only way we listen to music with my child at home, I really have no use case for this app. But I do like the concept and would very much like to keep my regular Spotify music app separate from the kid music. Once Google Home support is added I will revisit this.

This would be a useful app, but there is no ability to bulk curate. I want to slash the entire Spongebob Squarepants playlist, but it’s not possible. Also the only way to block something is to select it from the play history, which means that by the time you can block it, they’ve already heard it, which is really poor design. Let us build specific playlists and share them to the kids account.
Like the music, needs more features

This is great for keeping my music separate from my children’s music. I wish there were more features, including Spotify Connect so I can use it with Sonos. Support for Apple Car Play is also needed so I can use it easily while driving.

This app is practically useless. First, there are two separate age-groups used to classify music and no good way to customize them so my five year old, who likes music in both categories, can only listen to some of what he likes at a time. Please let us set up the filter. Additionally, there is no ability to bring in music that wasn’t pre-selected, leaving out a lot of what our kids like. The app feels more like a cash grab, requiring 2-year olds to have a separate account, rather than just allowing for parent-controlled content. I know it’s still early but I’m extremely disappointed in the app. It does not feel like much thought was put into it. I’m hopeful it will improve but not optimistic.

Why isn’t this just like the adult version but without explicit songs?! Why are there CHRISTIAN religious music folders right up front? I didn’t choose that! What if I don’t want my kid listening to religious indoctrination?! No thank you! Make that a searchable CHOICE.

It seems like a good app but... it’s EXTREMELY expensive! Like wut the barf man! Tbh I don’t got 15 dollas just out of the blue ppl! Written by a 12 yr old ?
