I have the original iPad, and the app is not orienting itself correctly on the screen, so the trash can is not available to use. It's also crashing when you go to select anything from the tools menu. The intro looked great, looking forward to using this app when bugs are fixed!
I love this app. I like having a variety of stimulus pictures right along side video clips showing how to make the sound, and I love being able to have more than one set of stimulus pics up at a time. The photos are engaging for little kids, but realistic enough for my older students to use without feeling like it's too childish. It worked well on my iPad running iOS 8.
The video clips are a nice learning/teaching tool and the ability to record audio and video is great.
This is a really cool app. I like the setup and the ease of use. I watched the short tutorial, but I like that it is easy enough to figure out without watching it. I like having pictures as well as video and/or visuals for the tongue position on the screen. I also like that you can increase the size of the pictures. There is no data collection, but that doesn't bother me. There is also a nice activity for the young kids where you put the coins in the chest or give fruit to a monkey. The one thing I think would be cool is if when you trashed a sound, it would unselect that sound so you could quickly tap a new sound. This way you don't have to go back to that original sound and deselect it. This isn't a huge deal, but I thought it would be cool. Great job overall!
This is a really nice app, but it needs better reinforcement games. The monkey was called boring by one of my students. Dotp, SLP
I love this app but now that I have updated to iOS 11, it no longer works. I have used it several times each week for my students and really need it back, please!
This is a paid app that no longer works. Please update to work with iOS11. I had this app a month before it stopped working. Used it less than a dozen times.......
