Gentle Explorer
This requires a purchased hardware device. It does not work from your camera. It is a useless app unless you have purchased their hardware. You don't want it.

The problem with most handheld spectrometers is that the interface to access the data is horrible. The spectrum genius app does a good job of allowing you to quickly access spectral data. I wish the program gave you a way to email multiple data files at once. If you are in the field and take multiple readings you have to send each reading as an individual email. -----update----- Increased my rating from 3* to 4*. This app really does work well. It works better than the PC software.
