This newspaper has finally burned me for the last time. I was told to download a new app to receive my current news and the app doesn't have any of my area's news. This newspaper has lost another customer. First we can no longer read articles without paying and now you tell customers to download apps that do not have any coverage for our area!! HORRIBLE COMPANY!!!

How insulting that you make everyone download a "new and improved" app, only to let everyone discover the "new improvement" is to restrict content unless each reader pays a monthly subscription of almost $10. The GoUpstate mobile content on the internet and via the app is lackluster at best, however it at least helped keep a local reader somewhat up to date; but here's a tip - if you're going to charge $10 per month for a subscription, at least put forth an effort to make the content appealing enough to justify the cost. Or, to say it another way... Your content simply is not worth paying $10 per month. No value! From now on I'll just get my news from Fox or any other number of agencies who don't charge a monthly fee, i.e. WSPA or WYFF. Goodbye GoUpstate!

Go Upstate used to be a great app for keeping up to date with local news. I downloaded the new app thinking it had some upgrades and used it for a little bit. Next time I opened it upon wanted me to pay. WHAT???? I hate to tell you Halifax, but your competitors don't make us pay for news. Good luck!!

You have to have a subscription to the print version if you want to look at more than 5 ads. Other than that it's okay.

Does Halifax know/care that this app literally doesn't work? Never loads and always crashes. I've deleted it and tried loading it again. Pathetic app. Come on!

Since upgrading last OS operating system( a hold out) program shows initial screen of town/flowers then suddenly closes. Tried deleting & reload with same results
