I enjoyed this app for a long time. I was using it today and ads kept popping up every few minutes. They lasted for 15 seconds. You couldn’t leave. One was for a cartoon where a it appears something is going on under the covers. Then a woman breaks in and begins to use the F word to yell at her boyfriend. I was a little surprised to say the least. I’m not overly sensitive to this in the right context, but during my Spanish lesson! Embarrassing. What’s up? I’m back to google translate.
Premium App purchase not activated after payment.

Decent app, they didn’t deliver on my purchase of the premium app and continuing to push premium upgrade ad to me to buy again.

For some reason, perhaps with a recent update, I no longer have the premium access for which I’ve already paid ($19.99). I was willing to pay once to avoid dealing with ads, but to now ask me to do it again is ridiculous. Fix this now.

I speak very limited Spanish and tonight I‘ll be attending the quiencenyera (spelling?) of a former colleague’s daughter. He speaks extremely limited English and his wife speaks none. I’ve celebrated several other big social occasions with them over the last few years, and I always find myself frustrated that my Spanish is so limited to the context of our mutual work (landscaping). Obviously, I need an app, but I don’t have a big cell data plan and I don’t want to hassle with trying to get onto someone’s WiFi. All that in mind, I spent an hour this morning reading various reviews online and on the App Store before downloading this app. I played with the free version for 20 minutes to confirm the basics were as I expected before upgrading to ‘ad free.’ I bought a 1 year subscription but I think I’ll have a better sense of the value of this app long before then. I should be able to update this review by this time tomorrow! So why did I review it so early if I know it’s too soon? Because just like so many reviewers mentioned, the app prompted me for a review after only being open about a minute! (I’m optimistically hoping that’s the dumbest implementation error I catch these developers in!) Want a working example? While on WiFi, I copied and pasted all of the above review into the app — 1 or 2 sentences at a time — and below is the translation: ¿Quieres un ejemplo de trabajo?
