I had all packages on the old version of the app. Went back to use it and it told me I had to upgrade to the new version. I did and it's making me buy all the in app purchases again. I had advanced level. And the games and stuff seem about the same as before including you can't turn off the annoying noise. I also used to own French and German versions of this. I've decided I'm deleting it all. Duolingo came out with their app after I bought this and it's a lot better anyway.

I just just bought your Spanish App for $10 and when I tap on it, it just stays frozen. Uninstalling and reinstalling it didn't work either. $10 down the toilet. After being very helpful, they fixed their app. The app won't make you fluent but it is a good foundation.

In particular, wish the content of the games would be randomized so you can get tested on all of what was presented in the lesson.

This app has some real potential and I'd give it five stars, but there are so many glitches and mistakes in the subsequent lessons that you purchase for $20 that I'm really starting to regret my purchase. Activities within the lessons are often out of order, some of the games are way too simplistic, it tests you on vocabulary you haven't been taught yet, and many of its grammar and going further sections provide no instruction whatsoever. They just list the vocabulary from the flash cards that didn't appear in the games. Further some of the games are broken, it refuses to accept a correct answer in a fill in the blank, a sentence builder won't have the right word available for you to choose, you have to restart the word search about 8 or 9 times in order for all the words in the list to actually show up and the memory cards you can't get a medal on if you make more than three mistakes, so essentially meaning you have eight seconds to memorize all 16 cards or just get really lucky. I was going to use the Spanish app as a gauge for whether to buy full versions of their other languages like German or Chinese or maybe even go buy the full platinum package, but if this is the quality I can expect from them, I will not buy any more from them. Maybe Rosetta stone will be worth the exorbitant price after all.
