If only I could Keep it working!!!

rjdzik

LL Spanish appears to be a great Spanish language application, and from the few times I was able to access it it seems so. THE ONLY PROBLEM IS IT KEEPS LOCKING ME OUT. AND NOW IT WON'T LET ME IN ANY MORE!!!!!!! Not only that but App Support does not respond to their eMails requesting HELP!!! Unless they correct the major problems, including responding to support requests I cannot recommend that anyone waste their money on this app. Buy another app until they get smart and fix the problems.

It works perfectly

For the people who say that can't add accents.....your not following instructions under help. Press and hold the letter that should have an accent over it. Thats basic iPad typing.

Please make this app available in app store in China, but now I just was not able to buy it.

I believe this would be the very app i am looking for. Please make it available in app store in China. Muchas gracias.

Terrible start

Working iPad

Downloaded free app for Spanish, none of the flash card sounds work. Complete waste of time

Works great if you have some knowledge (and ignore the bugs)

After trying the sample I purchased the full version so that I could practice as I traveled through central america. My assessment: this is a great app if you have a basic knowledge of Spanish and want a refresher course, as well as to improve your vocabulary. I doubt that anyone can learn a language from scratch from an app. At the very least you need someone to interact with, whether in class or private lessons, and then you simply need to practice with native speakers. For me, this app was a great companion on my trip. It gets 4 stars because of the bugs: - Some of the vocabulary cards are incomplete when space runs out, whether in portrait or landscape; - A few word search games are incomplete (some hidden words in the crosswords are simply not there, had to keep reloading the different versions); - The memory game is impossible - I cheated by taking a photo with my iPhone then doing all the answers correctly, not a single mistake, and I still got only a bronze medal! Kind of ridiculous; - Some of the hints in some fill-in games are wrong (intermediate lesson 18 gives you venir conjugation instead of ver); - There are a few silly english typos in the menus (who edits this thing!). Apart from that, this app was a great way to brush up and improve my Spanish. Even with the bugs, I recommend it.

Love it! But...

Some of the games don't work like the word search. For example, on the color word search, it won't except amarillo as an answer! And on some of the fill ins, even if you entered the right thing, it blinks red and that means it's wrong! It's gets muy (lol, it means very!) angry! But overall, it's very good for learning spanish. But please fix those problems.

I can't get the volume to work on this app which makes it kind of useless.

The audio does not work

I can't get the audio to work. I have the volume turned up. I have deleted and reloaded the app. I have restarted my iPad -- no sound.

Good app with a few glitches to fix

La_bibliotecaria

This is a really well put together (and fun!) language learning app. The lessons are simple, quick to master, and a pleasure to look at. The games are challenging without being frustrating, and lots of pronunciation assistance is available -- when the learner wants it (but is unobtrusive when they don't). The app does have a few flaws: -- the word search has no "hint" button, like the other games, so you never can be sure if you're looking for the right word (if it's there at all). It would be nice to see a corrected game at the end once you'd finished and gotten your score. -- Sometimes, the games quiz you on words you haven't yet learned. For example, when I moved on to Lesson 2, the first and second games both had vocabulary (that you were supposed to type into a blank) that wasn't taught anywhere in that lesson. I found it later by looking at all the vocabulary cards for all the available lessons. This actually was good for me, because it forced me to dredge up the right words from the dusty corners of my memory...but would be very unhelpful for a true beginning learner. -- The quizzes/games are the same each time you take them, so you really only have one shot to take them... each subsequent time feels a bit like cheating. The only failings of this app are nothing a bit of database tweaking couldn't fix. Hopefully, future updates will resolve these simple glitches, making this an excellent app.
