My favorite game of all time!

Great game
Ahriman1911

Must buy. I hope there's an update with more campaign levels. Or how about multiplayer over the net. I want MORE!

Fantastic. Addictive. Wonderful
Bosscrab

I love this game. Great interface, fun and addicting to play. Reminds me of playing a hybrid of star control and civilization. My only complaint is that there aren't more campaigns.

Needs updating

App hasn't been updated in a long time. Play is repetitive once you get all the weapons, which doesn't take long.

Very fun game
A Mac, Photoshop and a Beard

Being a fan of games like Harvest on the Mac, I really like this genre and this game in particular. This one is really well executed and the graphics are strong. I can't recommend this game enough if you like gathering/defense. When playing the non-scenario levels there does come a point where the game just decides to kill you. Sometimes I wish it were a slower ramp up to that, but to the developer's credit, it happens right about when it starts feeling endless. In a perfect world, this game should have a mode where you had more control over when the waves are going to hit, kinda like Harvest did. Still an awesome game though. Well worth the five bucks, seriously.

Ideas

The game is very fun and a lot of thought went into the game. However when you upgrade a turret, you only increase it's range... You should make it to where you can increase the damage and the fire rate too... Also there are only so many structures you can put on the map. I think you should increase that limit, especially in survival mode because I only fill up a quarter of the map but the resources are way out there. But other then those couple of ideas, the game is very fun and it's one of my most played apps!

Awesome!!!

This is a very good game. Highly recommended!

Very poorly balanced
A.Duck

I've been playing RTS games for a long time, and this is one of the most poorly balanced I've seen (past the first few missions). Which is a pity, as it has potential. Let me put this into Starcraft terms for you: by the time you build 1 SCV, 6 zerglings are at your base. At the 30 second mark, you've got 4 control groups of muties/guardians incoming. Of course, you could just get all the upgrades and tilt the numbers more in your favor. The problem is much like trying to max out your classes' levels in Valkyria Chronicles at the first skirmish. It's far too tedious and time-consuming. Worse than camping jboots in EverQuest time consuming. Trying to slog through this game is an exercise in random chance based on what type of enemies appear from which direction vs. your static defenses. Difficulty should never evar equate with random chance. That is DOING IT WRONG. Do you die in Demon's Souls due to the random number generator? No. You die because you made a mistake. I like challenging games. Bring more souls, slayer of demons. But I don't appreciate "normal" to "go farm 5000 hours or die, lol" for a difficulty curve. And if I, a hardcore gamer, don't appreciate it, you can be certain the other 99% of the App Store market that never played Shining Force back in the day or has any idea what "Collector Ship on Insanity" means are going to appreciate it even less. PvZ may be too easy, but there's a reason it sells well.

Great game!

This is a really fun game and is definitely worth $5. I have a problem with the Rail Guns. The first level Rail Gun should be a bit longer considering its price. Also in the later levels it would be nice if there were breaks in the waves. After 10min into a game its seemingly impossible for the power to recharge.

Its good.

I wasn't sure I would like it, but its easy to play and requires some strategy. It takes awhile to build up enough points to buy things that you need. This requires you to play lower levels over and over to get the stuff you want to progress. As you get farther along you need more equipment. Its challenging and fun. Survival mode is truely that. A fight to the death!!
