I have had this app for several years, but for the past year or more Sound Hound has not worked well. Their updates have definitely not been improvements. In recent months the app has been pretty much worthless. It seems to have no idea what any song is. If you have an iPhone, ask Siri and get an answer before the song is gone. 11/11/2020 Absolutely worthless! Does not, will not recognize ANY song! How can this app possibly have 4+ stars? TRASH!!!! Nov. 24, 2020 STILL ABSOLUTELY WORTHLESS! This app can not identify any song from anywhere! Pure crap!

I’m a regular user. Sometimes have to try a few times before the song comes through. Otherwise I enjoy the app.

Too slow ...says no internet when I’m at home on WiFi... I just found out there’s a paid version I wouldn’t even consider buying the paid version by the time I reset the app for the 3rd time the music I’m listening to is over, love the fact it saves into a folder in Spotify but that’s all I love now

I took the time to write a review of this garbage app because none of the popular songs are recognized. And the music doesn’t even play. I get a message saying “Unable to play current song” so the app is useless then. So, I uninstalled. And I rate you 1 star. Because I can’t rate you a 0.

It’s only found the right song ONCE. When I’m trying to go to music to get the song. It never works. Who ever made sound hound. This is bad, when are you updating. I have better luck finding the doing myself. If you keep on going like this YOU will not succeed.

This app was amazing! And I loved how it would automatically add songs to my iTunes. Ever since the update it takes forever to recognize sounds and never adds the songs to my iTunes ?

I tried to use the app to see whether it would read Paramore’s “That’s What You Get,” and five times in a row it told me the song was “Ich brauche den Tango” by Dirk Busch. Dunno when that changed. ? I hadn’t touched the app in months and updated it today, then thought I’d test the app again. At least it read Blink182’s song properly after that, so perhaps that Paramore and German song mix-up was just that one in a million chance. I can definitely say it reads other foreign songs properly though, because it gets Korean and Japanese songs right. xD
