Sufficient Inventory App

Dlrbme

I started using this app after my other one was no longer compatible with newer phone updates. It does the job that I need (small business inventory) but in order to be the best there needs to be a few updates. 1. The camera view doesn't match the picture that is snapped. I have to get really close to objects to not show the background because the snapped picture captures more than what is seen on the phone display (I do not have this problem on my regular phone camera.) This only became a problem with the last couple of app updates. 2. I wish we could edit/add entry spaces "attributes" on the objects. Example: for one folder every object has a size. I wish we could add a spot that is always there that I could just tap or select from a dropdown menu with the options pertaining to that attribute (S,M,L etc). 3. The tags are unhelpful. They should be used to help search so the name of the objects aren't extremely long, which mine are. I don't like how all the tags from every listing are there in a list because it wastes time looking for the one I need and is just not user friendly. Sometimes only one or two objects share the same tag but it adds a spot to the list making it extremely long. Having attributes would help with this too. 4. I don't like how tapping on an item to view better automatically puts it in edit mode. This subtracts a star by itself. Tapping an object should put it in view mode and there should be an edit button to edit. Overall, this app does what I need but my previous one was better. I really hope these suggestions are really taken into consideration. I know this app is for general inventory but these suggestions could open up the customer base to specific inventory needs.

Useless unless you get the Plus

The standard version only allows 100 items. What house has less than 100 items?? Therefore, to use this you will need to pay the monthly/yearly subscription.

The Best Organizer at your fingertips

Lovesdelicious

Love this app! I am a private chef and event stylist. It has all my business inventory. When I have an event, I simply get the details from my client on their decor preference, and I design right from my phone. No more digging, and trying to remember what I have in storage. Also great when linens go to dry cleaning I can note it and then they can't "misplace" anything. So awesome I tell everyone!!!

Seems to work, but totally devoid of meaningful instructions.

I love the App but sometimes things don’t save like pics I’ve taken and edits to names and I wish there was a way to edit the pictures in App

I use this app all the time.

Good app for tracking products. Very easy to use. I really like the bar code feature to search and add. Really. I’d like to be able to have search parameters, but i hope to see it added later. The developers update the app, so that’s good. Shows there’s continued improvement. I recommend this app.

Says you can add stuff to Evernote. Signed in to Evernote. Nothing happened. But I see that I can actually USE Evernote to do what Sortly does!

Items cannot contain items

I have different photo cameras with different memory cards attached to those cameras. Or, I have an expensive backpack, and some items in that backpack. Sure, you can create folders, but folders do not have the properties of items. Another huge problem is the photos are low quality when taken from the app. I hope this does not mean that the app will crash soon on me, because I prefer to import high quality photos instead (which can add up to large database size) Other than that, amazing app. Can be used for many very different purposes and concepts. Response to the response: the solution given is cumbersome when you have many nested levels. That’s what I’ve been doing, it’s a good workaround, but why not allow custom fields on folders and items. That would solve many problems, including item cost depreciation, which is tremendously important. Also, why not have support for multiple currencies. Having a default currency is fine, but some people travel a lot. Sortly is an excellent expedition tool.

Monthly fee???

Hylands island

Just downloaded. Thought you could get max/upgrade for total cost of $9.00 (I just watched a recent utube video and why I chose this app), only giving me options to pay $5.00 a month or a yearly plan. Am I missing something?
