Won't allow me to finish hearing assessment, wish it would have worked

Very sophisticated app

This app is a very good idea. It actually makes the calls sound as good as, if not better than, my Widex hearing aids. There are an impressive array of parameters that can be accessed and adjusted. The app is somewhat buggy though, with frequent crashes. I hope the company will be able to stabilize this app real soon.

Good idea but too expensive

While I believe in supporting developers I feel the cost is way too high. Sorry to tell the developer I will be cancelling my subscription before the free trial is up. While it's a good program it's not MS Office which is in the same price range.

Well, that's a big nothing.

I got this app last night, and I'm already done with it. There was no indication up front that it was really trial version. After they take your email and phone info, they pop the $9.99/mo. charge (after the first month). It won't let you access your address book for outgoing calls. The caller ID on the other end only shows a string of 0's, that assumes the call actually goes through (which is not likely).

Better than a hearing aid

Ryan794

I was in a band when I was younger and I like to listen to music pretty loud through my headphones, so I have lost a bit of hearing over the years. I really didn't want to deal with the huge cost of a hearing aid and wearing one just makes me feel old, so I was excited to hear that my headphones could become my solution. The set up was really easy and only took a few minutes. All you do is click through some funny animations and immediately there was a noticeable difference in call quality. I love this product and I'd definitely recommend trying this before investing in a hearing aid.

Essential for business calls

RMC 315

I'm a consultant with clients across the country, and I frequently need to be on conference calls from the road on my iPhone. I have tinnitus and some hearing loss from too many loud concerts, but I don't like the image of hearing aids. In the past, the best way for me to hear my clients clearly one-on-one or on conference calls would be to use the speaker on my iPhone, but I could only do this if I was in a private space... and even then I would often have problems hearing everything. This was especially difficult when there were several men or women on the call, and some of them had high voices or were soft spoken. Before SonicCloud, when I used my earbuds I would need to turn the volume up so loud to hear well that it was uncomfortable, and it made my ears ring after the call. Now with SonicCloud I can use my earbuds on one-on-one calls and conference calls from any location, and I can hear everyone clearly, including women with high-pitched voices... and my ears never ring after any calls. SonicCloud has become so essential for my business calls that now I'm using it for personal calls too.

Also good for bad headsets

Harris Camdenthorp

I'm a contractor for SonicCloud, and my hearing is good, but I've found a situation where the app helps me. My wife has a cool, wireless Bluetooth headset. Only problem is, I sometimes find it very hard to hear her on it bc the Mic is by her ear. Imagine my surprise when fiddling with removing some low end, suddenly I could hear her clearly. Also, I think it's nice that people get ample time to try it out before having to actually pay for a subscription. Great stuff.

Cost

Seems a bit pricy to me.

Tried it, the call forwarding disabled my text messaging

Downloaded the app, I did the hearing evaluation, made the adjustments and made some phone calls, I was amazed at the difference going through the sound cloud. I have spent most of my adult life with hearing impairment from tons of ear surgeries as a child. I got hearing aids 3 years ago, BTE, talking on the phone was just as difficult with hearing aids because I had to try and get the tiny cell phone speaker just right over the hearing aid. I can't wear my aids I'm my line of work so I thought this app would fit the bill, and it did. In order to receive calls I had to call forward, after doing so, I instantly found text weren't working or seriously delayed. I've spent most of the last 10 years being a texter because of my hearing loss and avoided talking on the phone. I can't jeopardize my texting, especially in my line of work so I had to uninstall. Bummed because I was actually excited about being able to hear my loved ones crystal clear, because it did work. Even well worth the $9.99 a month.

Don't waste your time

Free app but ends up requiring a $10 a month subscription. Scam!
