REPORT YOUR OUTAGE
SMECO makes it easy to report an outage and receive outage updates. You can also use this app to view SMECO’s outage map. Under normal conditions, the map shows the number of customers affected, the crew status, and the estimated time of restoration. SMECO may also distribute news releases when widespread outages occur or when weather systems are expected to cause power outages.
They must’ve done a major overhaul on this app. I’m able to log in see what I need and just keep up. You still can’t change your payment amount to pay any amount but I’ll take what I got for now.
This app is garbage. Absolutely horrible - doesn’t retain account information and unable to add. Don’t waste your time.
It’s better, but I really REALLY wish you could save a default payment method so I didn’t have to type it in EVERY time!
Keeps telling me log in failure try again later ?... guess what? Later never comes ..it doesn’t work..just easier to go to the web site..Hope smecco got kissed after buying this app..because they sure did screw them!
Too many steps to simply pay bill. Acct Information from Web, should auto transfer to mobile app. Fonts are way too small (need a magnifying glass to see them). Very poorly designed and executed. SMECO hasn't updated in months. Please do better. Customers deserve better.
You really should just send out your linemen to collect payments. They’re very good at restoring power outages. You have THE WORST online account service I’ve ever encountered. Not only are you unable to save my previous payment info, you can’t even save username and password information. I’ve had the same account with you since 1988, and today I cannot even access that account using your stupid 24/7 app. According to you, I have no account, but I still owe you $108 for that non-existent accound.
Downloaded the app & it crashed when I tried to use it. It crashed 3 times - when I tried to contact Smeco, when I looked at Account Manager & when I tapped Outage Map.
Why would you make a MOBILE app to pay your electric bill that requires your account number every time you log in? If I'm paying bills at my computer it's a pain to find the number.
This may be the worst app I have ever tried to use. Save yourself time and energy by just crawling to your nearest in person payment center with a laundry bag full of pennies, because that would be a lot faster and less annoying than using this app.
