worthless!

eddie mello

looks like an app an incompetent Federal employee would make! Try to use the letter index bar... doesn't work well if at all... go to country of choice and select any topic , you have to reselect country when topic opens... feels just like the crap I use at work... sheesh!

Waste of my tax dollars.

daversion

Collapsing infrastructure, insurmountable debt, rampant spending... How many of my tax dollars went to funding this ugly app?

Not Recommended

The intentions of this app are noble but the implementation is atrocious. This app provides all the useful travel information an warning from the department I state website but the app is very slow and does not respond to touch like a typical iOS app. It feels like a very poor port.

Who would guess this was a government job

Text wider than the screen. Lags and erratic scrolling. Nonfunctional letter bar. The information is there if you want to spend hours scrolling back and forth to read it. Terrible.

Worthless

Piece of garbage. Misleading and dangerous if rely on this app for current travel warnings and alerts, as the most recent info is not listed.

Abysmal

Tagggggggggg

Using scrollable frames within an iPhone app? Why?

Not as bad as some claim

Have to specify the country twice to get info about it? Not always. Say you want a directory of embassies. You tap "Countries" and then the country. If you then tap "US Embassies/Consulates" it will take you to USEmbassy.gov and you'll need to do some zooming and tapping to get the desired info. Instead of tapping "US Embassies/Consulates", tap "Know Before You Go" and then "Embassy Location". That will get you directly to the info quickly and easily. Data a year old? Maybe the app is using data from its built-in cache instead of the website. Be sure you have Internet connectivity, then tap "More" and "Clear Cached Data". You will see, "Your e-itineraries and custom RSS feeds are NOT removed." Tap "Yes". Now tap "Warnings" or "Alerts" and the latest info about that topic will be downloaded. [Note: It appears that when the app can't connect to the web (e.g., in Airplane Mode), warnings and alerts are shown anyway; I suppose they are old versions that the app keeps around.] Unfriendly but not completely useless.

Useless

Where'd the "Exit/entry requirements" go? This app is useless without that info. And being taken to the mobile site is useless as well. Before this update the app was fine, now its just infuriating & inconvenient.

No Consular Info?

MetsNomad

I just updated to the newest version of this app and I can't seem to find the consular information sheets that listed entry requirements, health, crime, etc. This was the main reason for me to use this app and now it seems to be gone. Epic fail!

Useless after last update

ThirteenRight

I travel extensively for work around the world and used to rely on the app for Entry/Exit requirements. After the update this section is gone and the overall navigation of the app was made much more cumbersome. I will not use this app until the entry requirements information is restored.
