Keyboard function does not work

This is a pretty good app in every regard EXCEPT it does not do the ONE THING that I would want from an iPad remote - let me use a keyboard to enter searches on Amazon Prime, YouTube etc. The keyboard function DOES work for entering Wi-Fi passwords, so I know it can be done. I note that this is a new app first released 5 months ago (July 2018.). Fix the keyboard function and I’ll give you 5 stars.

I can’t give this 5 stars because it is almost non functional with the free version of this app. I don’t have cable and currently stream YouTube TV and other programming so I’d like my TV remote app to be as efficient as the real remote. Nice layout though!
Arrow bottoms doesn’t work

I purchased the app just to be able to use the arrow keys. App purchased - arrow keys don’t work. Bummer

3 months ago i contacted the developer to let him know that the navigation arrows don’t work on my iphone x. The problem persists -.-

The remote half works. Only can change the channels and turn volume up and down. No smart tv capability
