The devs finally listened and added options for more time between plays in async online. Now I can actually play without feeling like I'm tethered to my iPad. Another choice feature is the addition of in-game chat. They will get the final star from me when they fix the notification bug that says it's still my turn when I just took mine. Not a major problem - I just have to tap it again to open the app and it goes away, but the 2 step process seems redundant. Previous Review: This game is superb, but for some reason the devs decided that 48 hours should be the maximum amount of time that you can take between turns online. It's utter madness. But it IS Days of Wonder: the team that gave you Ticket to Ride with no async online iPad multiplayer, then created a new, different app for iPhone WITH async multiplayer, then created a new separate app for the Europe expansion for iPhone... etc. Looks like they're still drinking the funny kool-aid.
Good game but buggy

I like the game and the UI but the login hangs forever and so I'm unable to play with friends. Also the sound doesn't work at all on my iPad! For this price I wouldn't expect so many bugs. Please fix!

Wanted to like the game but just couldn't get into it. Not sure if it's because I don't really like the game or it's difficult to learn on the ipad.

This game was great until latest update. Now the bugs are unbearable. Scoring is often incorrect, especially where bonuses are supposed to be applied. Pieces often go to incorrect spaces when they should go to the highlighted region. Priestesses never stack up as a tower, it just leaves a single in-decline piece on the spot with the tower. Fix these immediately and I'll change my review to one more positive.
Game constantly crashes

Please refund my purchase. This game constantly crashes in the middle of play. It is crashing when opponent is attacking me. We are playing a local game on our home network. We have other DOW games (Ticket) and have never experienced this before. This was our first game of SW2 and it crashed in the middle during roll 5. I have not been able to even complete one full game. I am very dissatisfied with this game and want a full refund of my purchase if this issue cannot be fixed. New buyers should AVOID this game. This game is not worth the $10 cost. Please refund my $10.
They create false ratings

Days of wonder keep inflating the rating by using employees to cast a 5 star. Then they freeze it to stop customers from voicing their opinions. This game is always going to be bad. I also want my money back!!!

I love this game. The strategies are endless and each game is unique. The only thing I don't like about the real board game is the sheer number of pieces you have to keep track of. The iPad version solves this problem! great game, hope to see more from you guys!

Startling, addictive game. Just as startling that it has been out so long with so many bugs and so little customer support. What is this *newest* error message I just started receiving, mid game (online): error sending data to servers. No server connection could be found. Exit? Come on, DOW, I'm one of your top ranked players online - please help.
How do I buy in app purchases???????
