Sooo Useful and Motivating!

Gar's Child

I find it difficult to get things done within a reasonable timeframe, and I also find it hard to track whether I'm spending too much time on things. This app has managed to motivate me to accomplish more in the past three DAYS than I've done in the past three WEEKS, and I am not exaggerating at all. I just wish I could compartmentalize completed tasks into a separate list, and automatically record the day/time they were marked "done" (maybe it does show that, but I can't quite remember while I'm writing this). I would pay for this app with a few additional options like separating completed tasks. Drawback of any enhancements, though, would be getting away from the minimalist design which is actually a huge plus.

This app nails it. Uncluttered and easy to use, it brings your scheduled items to you throughout the day instead of forcing you to go to your schedule. If you like me have poor time consciousness or have a hard developing the discipline of subjecting your life to a schedule then this app is for you. The sole feature I would love to see added is something that visualizes what time of the day each task item would start and end. Currently I'm manually typing in at the end of each task the time of day the task would should be complete if I followed my schedule. This gives me a sense of whether I'm behind or ahead of my schedule. Otherwise a fantastic app. Hats off to the developers - five stars

Fabulous but

I've been using this app for around a week now and it's been so useful, it's definitely helped me be more productive. I love the design too! However it crashes a lot which makes it hard to "start" something on my to do list and it's quite annoying since I do most of my planning now on this app. Please fix this, otherwise though love love love it.?

The best time mgmt app!

They have taken a great concept and perfected what the competition couldn't. They also listen and respond to user feedback and feature requests! Thanks Marie and others for the awesome app!

AWESOME minimalist task cruncher app

I am one of those people who get productivity apps and then stop using them a few days later, but this app is an exception. Really simple yet well though out implementation of what seemingly is an easy/basic concept. I will continue using this for a long time! Love it!

Finally!

Update- loving the new pre made lists. I mean - this is an amazing add. Keeps you on task and is a simple way to remind you of what you want to get done and how long it will take. $2.99 is the best ROI you could ask for. How much are you worth per hour? Because this feature could double it! There is nothing more important than your time and nothing better than sloth to keep you in line. Not only does this app to keep track of everything that I need to do, it keeps track of the time that I want to do it in and then tells me when that time is up! You would think that would be enough to make this app and immediate five stars, but then add on top of it a cofounder that response to emails immediately thank you for your feedback and then does everything that she can to get it into the next version of the app... I mean, come on what more could you ask for!? This app is an immediate download for anyone that wants to do everything they can to time block their time and stay on track. Download it today!

Sloth is a Jetpack on My Back, Part 2

February 29, 2016: Incredible update. The inclusion of the ability to create boilerplate list of tasks grouped whatever category you wish, takes Sloth more into the realm of being a task list in addition to being a rocket booster for pushing you continuously through your day to get important things done. As well, the new dark-themed skins conserve battery life. And when your time's up, you are tormented with a flashing screen to get off your a** and move on to the task. Honestly, no other app as had this big of a positive impact on my productivity as Sloth. Previous review for V1 I Have Been Using Pomodoro Time Management off and on for the past 10 years or so. I would go through periods of sticking to it and then slacking off. I always knew that time boxing was another method available, but I've never found an app that did it in such a way that it would encourage me to use it and stay with the discipline. In the past week that I have been using Sloth, I'm hopeful that I finally arrived at a way to keep the jet pack on my back throughout the workday. After getting it I searched for other time boxing apps in the App Store. I found a couple, but none of them were as smooth and efficient as Sloth. Instead of having elements that get in the way, Sloth offers you the direct path. I do hope that they add some color options to it, as well as tracking how you spend your time. But for now, it's working great.

I love it! It's the best tool I have found to help me do the things I subconsciously avoid doing. It has helped me overcome procrastination and it has brought out the perfectionist inside of me :). Not even the great minds and super achievers before had these tools! We have absolutely no excuse to not be on top of everything and be successful! Please keep this app awesome. I bought the Pro version just to say thanks!

Task & time management duo!

Rather than counting away rigid blocks of time or nesting tasks to oblivion, Sloth uses the concept of time-boxing to allow users to set a timer on tasks and group those tasks for later (or even daily) completion. The Apple Watch component does lag in receiving task updates and there are a few design issues that slightly impair the app's functionality, but given the progress the Sloth team has made, I'm sure these issues will be resolved in upcoming updates.
