Do not pay the fee for the upgrade

The app is good. I like it, however, I paid the fee for the upgrade so I could have preset lists but they don’t work. I put them in with times etc but when you go to use them they won’t pull into the main list and no timer attached to them so I just went back to entering everything without using the preset list.

Love it when it doesn’t crash.

This was the simplest, most wonderful app and I really loved it for the five days it worked. It was great because it wouldn’t let me put in too many tasks. My todo list is usually four pages long and nothing gets done. Sadly, it kept crashing as soon as I opened it so I kept re-installing and each time it was worse. No other app crashes like this.

Optional game-like scoring system?

Hey guys! I love Sloth and have used the app for almost 3 years now. Everything is great! But I would love to see an OPTIONAL ‘scoring system’ that would almost turn it into a game. I know it would be difficult and probably won’t happen, but even if the ‘game’ aspect weren’t ranked globally, you could have an option to set up a ‘game’ between other users (if you and some buddies are working together on something) using something resembling a snap code. Or just have the score to see for yourself. I know games always help me to focus and put forth more effort, I’d love to see it happen here! If you guys could make that happen, I would love to test it for you!

The app works well and does precisely what I need it to do without any issues. I had been looking for an app that does more than just act as a glorified iCal but actually helps me keep on task and not spend an ungodly amount of time on something that should take 1/4 of that time—and Sloth does just that. Now, the only reason I gave it 4 stars is that I wish it did more. I get that the app developer is going for ‘simple’ but it would be nice to not only have the time tracker for each task but also have a day planner/itinerary to get a better idea of the time I can allot for each task, given the amount of time I have during the day, when taking into consideration classes, picking up my son, etc. And I know I can use iCal (or those glorified iCals I referenced before), but it really is so much nicer to have everything consolidated and not have to open various apps to get the job done (I know, I know—first world problems). Regardless, I’m content with the app and it’s already helping. I’m in law school and essentially any task, e.g., reading, outlining, briefing (or lack there of), can take a ridiculous amount of time if you let it, but definitely doesn’t need to—and shouldn’t.

Most timer or time block apps don’t let me use my phone and as a college student, it’s really unrealistic when doing work especially since my parents are always calling me randomly. I really enjoy the running list and it’s ability to keep me focused without taking away my phone
