HOW IT WORKS

1. Wear your Apple Watch to bed (do not enable Power Reserve)
2. Upon waking, check the Watch or iPhone app to see your auto-detected sleep details; that's it!
3. Opt to confirm or adjust your auto-detected sleep times in the iPhone app to help us build you a smarter sleep detection algorithm

We recommend scheduling 'Do Not Disturb' to turn on automatically during your typical sleeping hours to prevent any Watch notifications from disturbing your sleep. This can be done in the iPhone Watch App > My Watch > General > 'Do Not Disturb' section. We also recommend enabling 'Theatre Mode' while asleep to keep your Watch screen dark until waking.

Doesn’t work

I tried it for a week. Gave all permissions and put it in first priority in my Apple Watch Sleep app, wore my watch to bed. It tracked 1 nights sleep. All other nights were “no data” except for one when it said that I slept from 8:30pm to 10:00pm when I was watching TV on my couch (when I did go to bed that night, it didn’t track at all). The UI was easy to read and very informative for the 1 night it did work correctly.

Why can’t I add activities as they happen?
TGIF.....!

I like SleepWatch a lot. Frustrating you can only add activities for the previous day. I’d like to be able to tag activities throughout the day rather than trying to remember the next day what I did the day before.

Stopped working and lost all my data

I didn’t wear my watch for a weekend I was out of town. Came back and put it on to sleep and woke up to the app not syncing my sleep data. Figured it was a glitch and but the same thing happened the next night. I tried deleting it and redownloading it but none of my data is saved and when I create a new account and try to login, it says my login information is wrong.


Better than expected

I compared this with sleep++ and the Muse S 2nd Gen. While not as accurate as the muse since there’s no EEG, it gives pretty good information. Tends to record stillness as light sleep even though I’m not sleeping but it’s pretty easy to edit. Sleep++ was not very accessible and less accurate compared to the Muse. I did not do a proper analysis of the data, this is just impressions from observation.

I have worn a Fitbit for years… And my Apple Watch would sit and collect dust only because I love how Fitbit is very concise and gives me my steps the calories I’ve burned and I absolutely love that it gives me some detail on my sleep… Going back to myApple Watch I was trying to find a sleep app that could give me “some details”Well this app totally surpassed some details! It is amazing and I am enjoying it thoroughly… My only Khan on this app is that I have to pay attention to what time it is when I know I’m going to sleep because I can go to sleep at 1 AM and it will Record that I went to sleep at 2:20 AM so I will have to manually correct that other than that it’s great!

I love the general tracking. I only wish there was more than completely rested, okay, and not rested. I wish the spectrum had 5-7 options.
