I’ve had this Game for I think 10 years now (since I first got an iPod Touch) and to this day it’s the only game over the years that I haven’t deleted. At this point it’s a classic, up there with chess and monopoly.

Great game, super fun to play, play every day. The new update made the graphics worse on iPad, it's now hard to play, the spaces are hard to see, graphics hurt my eyes, it's hurting my ability to play the game. Recommend fixing this for all us so we can play again. New map adds would also be great.

I love this game so much but in the recent update I feel as if the graphics were slightly ruined. If there was a way to fix that small problem than this game would get the 5 star rating it previously had.

Nice game, lots of fun, but now painful to look at with very poor quality graphics in latest 4.4 updates on my iPad. The screenshots in the App Store actually show the higher graphics from the previous releases. As App Store won't let me downgrade I'll probably stop playing, because the poor graphics are painful to look at, which is a shame.

It would be nice to have the old view available as one of the many existing options. Original: Looks like you might want to pass on this, but that would be a mistake. Great way to pass the time.

I love this game and was willing to pay for the extra maps (developers deserve to earn something for their hard work!). I really love how quickly they addressed the most recent bug created by update 4.4. The game play is excellent again. While the new graphics are taking some adjustment, I appreciate the simple fact that the developers have taken a great creation of theirs and responded to consumer feedback for improvements. You can’t please everyone, but at least they care and take pride in their work!

It's a great game w/ very simple rules yet tons of possibilities. I love it. The AI is very potent if I may say so myself and the difficulty is well calibrated and progressive until level 'K' (then it becomes too easy - see comment below). Worth the 4 bucks and ***** all the way. A couple avenues for improvement: - the edges of the maps are sometimes hard to use when zoomed out (upper left and right hand corners): IMHO, it's ok to add an extra centimeter of ocean or so - a ranking system to see where you stand against other players would be a nice addition - pausing a game would be nice: say playing a "very hard" game is taking a good 25 minutes for me (and getting longer with each level, after 'L' it sometimes takes 45+ minutes) and to pause it and play it over a couple days would be nice... But have the possibility to play a few quickies in the meantime when you have 10 minutes to kill. - the "dashboard" (upper right hand corner) could use more info like number of hexs in a territory (counting gets old after you "got it"). - the ability to pick capital placement in case of merging/splitting territory (could be hard to integrate in the flow of the game but placement of capitals was key in the middle ages and would add to the game, I think) - an upgrade to towers, maybe fortresses, that can only be destroyed by barons could be interesting - undo would be great (maybe limited to one turn) - the forest growing pattern doesn't seem that predictable (sometimes only one tree is going to sprout four more, some other times none at all): could you explain the algorithm more in detail? - Not sure how the difficulties are assigned but a human review of some of the higher levels difficulties might be necessary: 'Lije', 'Muss', and 'Nooft' are way too easy, for instance. And some in the 'H' level seem much harder than they ought to be. It seems a bit harder again past 'O' but not that much, for instance, I finished 'Rinou' (last level) in 36 turns and although it was not a breeze, it was not my hardest won battle. Anyhow. Bang up job, looking forward to see where you take it next.

I’ve been playing this game for probably fifteen years on desktop, handheld and now mobile. It plays quickly, with zero luck so if you lose it was because you made a mistake and can try the map again. Highly recommended for when you want to kill several minutes but still want to exercise your brain.
