Slack is awesome because I can be able to text my classmates and to stay in touch with them. Slack is way better than kik/whatsapp/and all the others(my opinion)

I work for a startup that needs to keep in contact with everyone in a quick and efficient way. Slack is perfect for all of our needs. Practically every file upload type is accepted, the separate channels allow for smaller groups and "teams" among members who need to be alerted and not bothersome to the ones who don't. I love slack and I'm never going back!

Slack is very good for office communications. Especially if you are a tech firm. It's encoding features eases out lot of communication which otherwise would have happened through emails, sometimes long threads.

Would give 5 stars if they could fix the "move unread messages to top". It's frustrating. But I have faith there will be a setting for it later on ?

Slack is the best. Great features, super useful. My family uses it to communicate without flooding everyone's phones with a zillion group texts. Also, their update notes are awesome; they tell you exactly what's new/fixed in an entertaining way. I highly recommend Slack to anyone and everyone.
